Telly’s Take
Although the second season premiered with poor numbers, it’s still too early to use the ratings to predict whether Wynonna Earp will be cancelled or renewed for a third season on Syfy. So, let’s look at what we do know. Although the first season of the Wynonna Earp TV show didn’t earn great demo ratings, it did draw reasonable total audience for this small cable channel and was renewed for season two. The series also airs on Canada’s Space channel, which helps defray some of the cost. It will be interesting to see if Syfy can still build its audience in the second season. What do you think? Are you glad that the Wynonna Earp TV show has been renewed for a third season? How would you feel if the show had been cancelled instead?
It needs to be renewed im cant wait for season 3 i kniw its not the same but im a huge western movie buff. I really like how its the earp family wtatt earp was one hell of a law man and doc holiday was a hell of a gun slinger. So keep wynonna earp on its a great show
Just watched season 1-2 and at first when I saw this on tv I was like nope but now after watching can’t wait for season 3 this show was good couldn’t stop watching it
I would be so mad is SyFy made wynnona earp stop at season 2 I’m serious I would never watch anything of that channel ever again I love wynnona Earp.. you just have to have patients and give it time.
The show was renewed for season three with some of the worst ratings in TV History. That said, it can still finish the season with higher ratings than last season. FAILURE is still acceptable at SYFY. TOO bad. That appeal by the cast for the fans to watch the show LIVE has barely kept it above a 0.10.
Renew it!!! It’s the only show on TV that’s interesting. The 2nd season is trying to find it’s footing after the end of season 1 and I think it will. GIVE IT TIME!!
I think Wynonna Earp is an Excellent show and truly hope it is renewed for season three! It would be a BIG MISTAKE to cancel this series!!!
I love Wynonna Earp it would be a great shame if it was canceled i would love to see more seasons
I absolutely love Wynonna Earp and I hope Syfy renews them not only for a season 3 but I hope they keep Wynonna Earp going for a long time cause I haven’t found a better show that’s ever been on Syfy than Wynonna Earp!!!!
I love this show !! This show it just amazing!!! please don’t cancel the season 3 of wynonna earp
I truely hope it is NOT cancelled!! SYFY Has this habit of cancelling shows with strong female characters – and then they broadcast **** movies that you can tell were shot in a short time, bad scripts even worse acting!!
I love this show!
I love this show! We need more girl power tv hero’s! Plus I’m not sure what’s going on with the whole “Weverely” line, but I’m biting my nails trying to figure it out. Is she an Earp? Was she contaminated somehow? And I also agree with other fans of syfy Chanel tv shows, we HATE waiting a year between seasons. We need a few more episodes per half season & for goodness sakes make the shows biseasonal. Most other networks only put you on hold for 4-5 months, SyFy should take a stance somewhere in the middle… Like AMC has… Read more »
I completely agree with you! I would love it so much more if their wasn’t such a long time waiting I between season
I love the show. Please don’t cancel after the 2nd season. One of the few shows I watch.
I am from the Czech Republic and I cant watch premiers on Syfy cause i have no access, but i would watch them if i could!! Instead of that, im waiting for subtitles and translation and i am always 100000% excited what will happen. In my opinion its the best show on air and I would literally cry if they would cancel this show. As an LGBT person, this TV show is very importnant to me and my friends and it helps us a lot. This is what we need, this is what we want and personally I wish it… Read more »
I would bet that if you broke the seasons up in summer/winter instead of waiting an entire year the ratings would stay up. It’s really difficult to stay interested (not to mention it’s frustrating) when you love a show & then it’s a year before you can keep up with what’s happening…also you kind of lose your excitement about it because there are other shows that have summer & winter seasons & new shows being released all the time. Just my thoughts; perhaps no one agrees with me.
I agree with you Michele, these shows wait too long before airing another season, they need to keep the fans interested in a show!
