It’s no surprise that The Young and the Restless will be returning since it was renewed for three seasons (through 2020) back in June 2017. The series will be entering its 47th season. Season 46 is averaging a 0.66 rating in the female 18-49 demographic with 4.23 million viewers. That’s down about 3% when compared to season 45 and Young and the Restless remains the highest-rated soap on network TV.
The Bold and the Beautiful will also be returning for 2019-20 and that will be the soap’s 33rd season. Season 32 is averaging a 0.55 rating in the 18-49 female demo with 3.36 million viewers. That’s down by about 4% when compared to season 31.

What do you think? Do you watch either of these programs? How long do you think that they will continue?
I love the Bold and Beautiful! If I have to miss it because of work, I watch it on CBS app!
PLEASE STOP . tell us about Hope baby NOW
Hopefully, Hope and Liam will find out that Phoebe is really Beth before she gets to college age!
Yes, Al….I agree. it’s so ridiculous that all the ones who know have no values whatsoever…or they would tell Hope/Liam. And now the ONLY decent person, Emma, who found out the secret, is dead because of deranged Thomas….he just keeps getting away with it all. I have watched this soap since its start…but this Beth debacle is insulting our intelligence. I don’t think I’ll watch anymore until the Beth saga is completed.
My favorite do over is MacGyver. Love that show. And, Hawaii 5-0. Im not a big fan of others I’ve seen.
Truly you are missing a great story! Way better than anything else on TV especially the stupid reality shows!
I started watching The Young And Restless when I was 9. It came on right when I got home from school. I’m now, 59 this June. The cast are amazing people who I feel like I know. Didn’t realize that The Bold And Beautiful has been on 32 years,, remember when it started. I won’t say that made me feel old but more wise by knowing good talent.
I have watched young y&r for years… I love the actors and am a fan for life…
I watch The Young and the Restless and The Bold & the Beautiful everyday. I hardly ever miss them. Their story lines are amazing and the cast are awesome. I will watch for as long as they are on. Which I pray continue for a very long time. Thank you for making my days brighter!!!!!!
Me and my Daughter watch both of them everyday .we love both of them.
I love both shows.I look forward to sit down in the afternoon and watch my favorite soaps
Love these shows thanks for renewal
Y&R by far the best, been with forever. (FOSTER DAYS LOL) Watch B&B, but doesnt keep my attention as well. To slow with story line, to much back/forth with same old couples. Tired of Liam being Saint. HOPE was first no matter how they make Steffi out to be. In love cause he saved her over pining over his Dad, first time ,come on now! Hope has never been anything but true! Get Steffi/Liam drama out of the way. Give Bill new woman too. PLEASE! Again storyline too slow.
Give hope and liam there daughter or you will lose many fans
I agree. Give Hope her baby. The ratings are dropping like a rock.
I completely agree.
I love both shows.

Thank you! So excited have been watching Y & R and B & B since they started. I love the drama please keep them for many years to come!!!!
My family members and friends have been watching Y&R and B&B since their first day. We get off of the phone, store shopping. tape the series for the day and gather with friends/family members out of town on line as well during that time. When the story is off, we get on the phone and discuss each series. Please keep the story on. Men even watch and know as much about these stories as well. Keep up the good work.
