Fuller House will premiere on Netflix in 2016, but the new series will not feature Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The twins, who played Michelle Tanner, on the original Full House opted not to return for the revival.
Us Weekly reported on Monday how the series will address Michelle’s absence on the show. During the season, a reference will be made that will reveal Michelle is living in New York City. She will be working on building her fashion empire.
This is a nod to the real life of Mary-Kate and Ashley. The twins currently live in New York City, and they manage their fashion lines.
It was also revealed that one of the characters will prank call Michelle during an episode. Someone will call her to say “You got it, dude” before hanging up. That was her catchphrase on the series.
