Zero Hour: Cancelled ABC Show Still Airing — Just Not Here

Zero Hour cancelled episodesThough ABC has cancelled and pulled Zero Hour off the schedule, it looks like viewers north of the border will get a chance to see the remaining episodes.

GlobalTV, which airs the Anthony Edwards show in Canada, still has Zero Hour on their schedule, at least for the next two weeks. The broadcaster runs Zero Hour at 8pm on Thursdays, just like ABC did.

Global makes aired episodes available online but are only available to those with Canada IP addresses.

There’s still no word on when or if ABC will get around to airing the remaining 10 episodes of Zero Hour. A summer run is a possibility but the show’s ratings were so poor that the network could likely garner better ratings from reruns.

On the positive side, ABC hasn’t removed the show from their website so there’s a chance the episodes could also be released there.

What do you think? Do you think Zero Hour will continue airing in Canada? Do you think ABC will air them eventually?

UPDATE: GlobalTV has now pulled Zero Hour as well. Both ABC and GlobalTV only aired three episodes.

This just highlights the incompetency of the people who run network TV. ScyFy Channel, TNT, TBS, FX, here is another TV Series for one of you to pick up and get an audience. I did not see the first two episodes when they ran. I never saw an ad for the show. I do not watch ABC, they have nothing that interests me. I went back to watch the first two episodes after two of my coworkers were raving about it. Also, I do not watch pretend reality TV.

It figures. ABC finally puts an interesting show on the air, I get emotionally into it and they decide to pull the plug. I don’t watch TV reality shows, I watch it to have a temporary escape. Whatever happened to honoring a contract? For both their viewers and the people involved in the production?

No wonder ABC has such low ratings. You cancel a show without giving it a chance. I loved it. Looks like I’m not alone either. Just another in a long line of dumb moves by this network. CBS is # 1 for a good reason…..& your not!!!!!!! Did you know West Wing had low ratings its first season….but they gave it time to find its audience…..& it was an award winner. To bad you don’t have any forward thinking execs at ABC.

ABC has killed the only two shows that were worth watching; zero hour and last resort. I will no longer watch anymore shows on ABC. Boo on them

Bobbo March 7, 2013 at 9:15 pm

We should get a class action against them. I liked both those shows as well.

This is very upsetting to me. I looked forward to seeing each episode. I noticed that Shark Tank was on in it’s place tonight so looked for what had happened. This is disturbing. I will not be watching ABC during that time slot. I do not like Shark Tank. I loved this show with the wonderful plot that actually made you think. You screwed up ABC.

Has mad cow hit ABC? With every hour taken up by reality garbage the only option is Netflix, I guess. How very sad. What ever happened to adult (as in intelligent) TV?

UNBELIEVABLE!!! Zero Hour was the most interesting show ABC ever aired…and they’ve taken it off??? Well, no more ABC for me…it’s back to PBS, the History Channel, Discovery Channel where people with more than half a brain might possibly find something worth watching.

This was one of the best new shows on television! It certainly was not given a chance!
the story was intense and action packed with believable characters and especially with the new Pope coming this show had all the mystery we could get. How can you cancela great show and leave shows like Last man standing and reba’s show on?????????

David March 7, 2013 at 6:34 pm

Greatest show since Lost. Stupid stupid stupid! Super pissed right now!

Donna March 7, 2013 at 10:24 pm

Omg me too David. I have spent over 2 hours looking for Zero Hour on tv figuring my cable company moved my channels around, but then did a google search to see my worst fears for the show had come to pass. I am super pissed as well. If I had plenty of money, I would send a psychiatrist to ABC to have them checked out mentally. I just can’t believe they did it again. After Last Resort I didn’t believe I would what their network until I saw previews for Zero Hour and first time I watched an episode I was hooked. what assholes…..

OMG what is ABC thinking. I loved this show. looked forward to each episode. everytime I get invested into a good show its cancelled. why would i start watching any new series on ABC when all they do is cancell it because its not making a kazillion dollars for them. ABC stinks.

Sandy March 7, 2013 at 6:11 pm

This is crazy, a TV show that is not a Reality Show and ABC takes it off. This was a program for adults. What a way to screw up ABC.

Bruce March 7, 2013 at 5:41 pm

Can’t believe Zero Hour was cancelled. I was really getting into it. At least show the 10 episodes that Canada will see or make them available on

Marie March 7, 2013 at 5:07 pm

This is insane!! I don’t watch television hardly at all anymore, so tired of all the same ole, same ole. This show was different and it had a story, left me anticipating the next one. So here I sit waiting for tonight’s episode, to be told it isn’t happening!

James March 7, 2013 at 4:56 pm
