FOX is headed to Texas. The network just announced they’ve ordered a new TV show with Rob Lowe called 9-1-1: Lone Star.
A spinoff of 9-1-1, the drama series “follows a sophisticated New York cop (Lowe) who, along with his son, re-locates to Austin, and must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in his own life.”
9-1-1: Lone Star is set to debut on FOX during the 2019-20 season.

Series Created and Executive Produced by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear; Lowe Will Serve as Co-Executive Producer on the Series
FOX’S #1 drama, 9-1-1, expands its reach to the city of Austin, Texas, with new installment, 9-1-1: LONE STAR, starring Rob Lowe. The series will premiere during the 2019-2020 season on FOX.

Not nearly as good as the original 911. I’ll be passing this up now.
911 is a great show. I really enjoy medical shows, so I’ll be sure to watch Lone Star. I liked Rob Lowe in Code Black, he is convincing as a medical staff person.
Probably not, but I will give it a fair chance. I’m just to much of a fan of the orginal series 911. The current 911 is my favorite series on TV, along with Orville in my 2nd spot.

I love 911 the way it is, but maybe and it is my opinion another show with almost the same title is going to confuse lots of viewers, maybe lone star 911,easier for the third generation viewers, why make copies of something great

I’m not to keen on Fox Canceling “The Cool Kid’s” l! But I do watch 911, so what are they going to make up for it In The future?? More spoofs that we’ve seen already? I’m sorry but I rather have a funny tv show such as was “The Cool Kids! It’s a reminder when television was to make you laugh! Something that this generation will never understand unfortunately! I’m from the Carol Burnett generation when I was a kid!
