What do you think of Laszlo Kreizler’s methods in the first season of The Alienist TV show on TNT? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like the TV show The Alienist is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of The Alienist season one episodes here.
A TNT mystery series, The Alienist stars Daniel Brühl, Luke Evans, Dakota Fanning, Brian Geraghty, Douglas Smith, Matthew Shear, Matt Lintz, Robert Ray Wisdom, and Q’orianka Kilcher. Set in 1896 in New York City, the Gilded Age drama centers on Laszlo Kreizler (Brühl), an alienist, i.e. a criminal psychologist. When a ritualistic serial killer starts targeting boy prostitutes, Police Commissioner Teddy Roosevelt (Geraghty) drafts Kreizler to head up his secret investigation into the murders.

*5/21/20 update: TNT has changed the title of the sequel series to The Alienist: The Angel of Darkness and is treating it like a second season.

Luv the alienist series. Felt sorry 4 killing off Mary. I liked her character. Wish they made second season. Hopeful!!!

I’m a great fan of period dramas and mysteries, so “The Alienist” really appeals to me. The casting is superb, and the story line has been growing with each episode. I have been enjoying everything about this series so far and hope it is renewed for another season. Keep up the good work, TNT!!

This show was advertised as a “Limited Series”. Meaning it’s planned for a specific number of seasons. “Falling Skies” was the same. It was planned for 5 seasons & ran 5 seasons. I would think THAT could end up losing money if the contract was written & signed by all parties only to break it.
Love this show didn’t think I wouldn’t it keeps me coming back for more. Great cast as well, we need a 2nd series1

I really enjoy this show. I always come to the end of each episode, finding myself enjoying the hunt, and seeing if I can figure things out. I like to be kept guessing.
I am really starting to find this an interesting story and production. A little slow in the beginning. Much improved with character development of a few shows. Hope it has a second season

This series might surprise us in the final episodes, a talented cast an crew, with background settings very nice, don’t care to veiw the focus on details about prostitute killings, how the Alienist” can help in the investgation will keep me watching..
This series is getting more and more interesting. The acting is very good and I want this series to continue. My husband and I enjoy this program and the scene selections and the cast are right on. So glad to comment on a great program.
