A murder mystery series, American Gothic stars: Virginia Madsen, Juliet Rylance, Justin Chatwin, Stephanie Leonidas, Gabriel Bateman, Megan Ketch, and Elliot Knight.
What do you think? Did you watch the first season of the American Gothic TV series? Do you think American Gothic should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season on CBS? Sound off in the comments.
Perhaps TV ratings are going the same as political polls?!? Accuracy maybe an issue to reconsider. This was a great suspense drama for the summer.
Another great show gone. SMH so sad
I love the show. It should not be cancelled. They should bring it back.
Very sad to hear you cancelled “American Gothic”! Only show on CBS that I looked forward to and watched over the summer. You also failed to mention Antony Starr in the above cast credits (even with him pictured in the above photo)! Did anyone from CBS even watch this show? Very disappointed!
Binge watched it, loved it. Please renew
I also binge watched.Great show.Sorry to see it go.Plenty more material left for continued storyline.
Love it! Hate it’s not returning!
I loved this just as much as American horror story. To cancel and leave such suspense?
I am severely disappointed.
I am shocked that American Gothic will not be returning. This is a significant error in judgement on CBS’s part.
Also, they left us viewers hanging. I would’ve liked to have found out who the accomplice was who let the original killer out and left him.
My fiancé and I loved American Gothic. I’m sad to see it won’t be coming back for second season.
Looked forward to it each week. Loved the twists in the plot. Definitely thought it would have a second season.
Thought was great
I enjoyed the show. Loved the house it was filmed in. I would still watch if given the chance. Why not try another season?
One season was enough. The story ran its course.
This was an interesting show that kept your attention. One really had to think who the killer was b/c there were so many twists int the plot. It should be given a 2nd season. CBS should rethink their decision.
