In its first season, Big Sky had a solid launch in the ratings but the numbers declined quite a bit over the course of the season. For season two, ABC’s programmers are giving the show a higher-profile timeslot, behind Grey’s Anatomy. Will the ratings rise this time around and, will it be enough? A thriller crime drama series, the Big Sky TV series stars Katheryn Winnick, Kylie Bunbury, Brian Geraghty, Dedee Pfeiffer, Omar Metwally, Anja Savcic, Janina Gavankar, and Logan Marshall-Green with John Carroll Lynch, Jesse James Keitel, Patrick Gallagher, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Madelyn Kientz, Troy Johnson, Lola Reid, Jeremy Ray Taylor, T.V. Carpio, Arturo Del Puerto, Vinny Chhibber, Romy Rosemont, Ryan O’Nan, Michael Malarkey, and David Meunier in recurring roles. The story begins with private detective Cassie Dewell (Bunbury) and ex-cop Jenny Hoyt (Winnick) joining forces to search for two kidnapped sisters. In season two, with fugitive Ronald Pergman (Geraghty) still on the loose, Cassie distracts herself with work at the detective agency while Jenny, recovering from her near-death experience, decides to take Sheriff Tubb (Gallagher) up on his offer for her to rejoin the force. While the two move in different directions, it’s not long before a mysterious accident leads them to cross paths again.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

For comparisons: Season one of Big Sky on ABC averaged a 0.54 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.51 million viewers in the live+same day ratings.

While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. 5/13/22 update: Big Sky has been renewed.
I like the show, however, dragging out the Ronald and Scarlet characters are getting boring. Irl the Legarskis would have killed both of them so if the producers continue with this storyline I’m done. Just have Cassie and Jenny get involved in a new case every week or so and be done with that annoying Ronald, NOW!! He sucks
This year is horrible and so far fetched. CANCEL! Worst show on television and someone should get the brother and sister acting lessons

I love this show should have left it on Tuesday But I watch it Thursday night faithfully
I love the show- but should have kept it on Tuesday nights. There competing against Football. That’s what’s hurting the show. Under these circumstances- I would still renew for season three.
PS: last year was a rough year for tv with everything going on.
My interest is waning. The characters are becoming so unlikable, particularly those four idiot kids. End this.
It’s become passe. No inventive quality left. End it…

Abc is good in letting good shows go early. CBS keeps there’s around for bit. Big sky one of the best shows on.I’m 65. Please renew it. It’s up against stabler law and order. I’m for one am tiring of the same shows. Seems like abc turning more to news in my area in FL. I hope I didn’t risk getting into another ABC shows just to have it pulled out from under me. Show is hard to follow. I watch it last year and am still confused into the 1st episode season 2. Show seems more disjointed than last year. Continue to watch ?????
Each season has a new storyline. The only common thread is the continued existence of Ronald (and Jen and Cas, of course).
Big Sky is an intriguing series. The whole cast complement each other. The storyline has its twists and turns, always keeping one on the edge of your seat. It should not be cancelled. A season three is definitely welcome.
