While the 12th and final season of the Bones TV show premieres on FOX, Tuesday, January 3rd at 9:01pm, executive producer Michael Peterson seems fairly insistent that the crime procedural starring Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz could return in some fashion.
The EP told TVLine, “I absolutely am not considering this the end. I am in full-on denial. I’ve been working on the show for eight-and-a-half years. It is my family. I adore it here. I don’t want to leave. And the idea of having some kind of reunion in a year or two. I would not rule it out.”

While the 12-episode final season wrapped production in December, when TVLine asked him if FOX would strike and destroy the sets or preserve them, Peterson said, “That’s a very tricky one to answer. I don’t know exactly what they’re doing with them.”
Although he doesn’t know how they would handle a Bones TV series reunion, Peterson said, “…I can tell you that 99.9999 percent of the people here would rush to return.”
According to FOX, Bones‘ 12th and final season will bring the storylines of Brennan, Booth and the Jeffersonian-FBI team to a close. The network promises Bones season 12 will provide fans with the chance to say goodbye to these beloved characters. Finally, FOX says, “Over the course of the farewell season, fans will experience deaths, a wedding, epic serial killer storylines and an undercover episode.”

Please, please, please bring Bones back!! I have watched the entire series during this pandemic and it has truly saved my sanity. I love “who done its” and especially love Bones because it is full of humor. You have your murders, your suspects and plenty of humor. There’s actually more focus on the character’s, their relationships and the humor instead of the murders. The actors are all wonderful and their chemistry, I think, is what makes this such a great show. I know Booth is now doing Seal Team; which I love also; but David B. is a good enough… Read more »
Lovely, thought provoking, relationships with main characters. Wonderful depth and perception with comic relief. So very well put together with educational information on anatomy and science. Will miss Booth and Brennan, a believable union based on love, respect and truth. Beautiful!
please go for the return of the Bones 13 the story is very educational and I learned a lot its okay if the cast are change as long as they can portray there roles but of course still better if the original cast are present just continue season 13 and do not end

I enjoyed watching the T.V. series Bones. I would really love to see it come back on T.V. again to see how the characters pan out in the series. I had tears in my eyes when sweets died, I wished you didn’t have to kill his character off the show. I hope you bring it back on.

Just wanted to say “Bones” series kept me from losing my mind!! Reality shows are taking over. Problem is they are so far from “reality” it’s a joke! I hope this trend reverses. Just want good quality drama, comedy, mystery, sci-fi to name a few. I no longer watch free to air shows. Too much “reality” and too many ads!
I really miss the show bones im very passionate anout this show it is the best show i have ever seen the the whole 14 years of my life on this earth so i beg u to make at least 2 more seasons that would make me the happiest person ever .
I miss bones and There’s so many of my favourites ending now.. So sick of TV so called reality.. It’s doing my head in.. Bring back bones, something you don’t have to be brain dead to watch..
I really miss Bones it’s the best show. With suspense, humor. A series adults can watch and appreciate.
