Over the years, CBS has found great success with Criminal Minds and that venerable show was just renewed for a 13th season. But what about its spin-off, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders? Season two premiered in March, but will there be a third season? Should the CBS TV show be cancelled or renewed?
A crime procedural, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders revolves around the International Division of the FBI which investigates crimes and rescues Americans in peril abroad. The cast includes Gary Sinise, Alana De La Garza, Daniel Henney, Tyler James Williams, and Annie Funke.
Season one of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders received fairly mediocre ratings, with an average rating of 1.24 in the 18-49 demo and 6.92 million viewers. Now, season two’s numbers have fallen even further. So far, the season is averaging a 0.85 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 5.10 million viewers, making it one of CBS’ lowest-rated shows for the 2016-2017 season.
According to Deadline, the series is “heavily on the bubble.” However, the original Criminal Minds series has been on for a long time and CBS may have been hoping that Beyond Borders could replace it.

Overall good actors (Gary seems even more wooden, I want to like him but…), however as an ensemble they have just not really come together. I wanted to be a fan but it’s just not working. Thanks for the forum.

It should be renewed , I’m a big criminal mind fan . After the firing of hog, & Sherman leaving it did something to viewers. The show doesn’t have the same energy it did before with the original team.Beyond the borders seem to be moving toward the right direction so far. Criminal mind was my favorite show at one time , but now with the two main actors gone alot of views are bla!!
Yeah, I think it should be renewed but the writers should take a page out of “law & order” and not season 12 of “criminal minds”. Develop the stories of different cases before trying to give us odd-fitting and awkward back stories of the main characters. If the writers/producers get us involved in the cases first, our interest in the characters will follow.

Renew. Not as good as Criminal Minds which I’ve watched since it began. Beyond Borders seemed boring at first, but has been getting better just this past month.
Renew. Not as good a show as the original, but better than a lot of series that are out there that keep getting renewed and shouldn’t.

A very boring show. Mediocre dispassionate acting. Not a great deal of imagination to the plot lines. Watched a few episodes of the 1st season, then stopped. Decided to give it a second chance come season 2, watched 1 episode, turned it off after another disappointing episode! Recommend you drop this series, put something of better quality on!! Cheers
Against Designated Survivor has affected ratings. Would definitely watch otherwise.

Hey the times I have watched it I liked it the show goes against designated survivor try another time slot and the ratings would be better
I do watch the show and I think it has gotten better….maybe future seasons will improve also.
