It looks like the magic is over for the three ladies of Eastwick. ABC network has decided against ordering any additional episodes of the supernatural series, effectively cancelling it.
Eastwick revolves around three women (Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman) who meet at a wishing fountain and become friends. Soonafter, mysterious Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) moves to town and unleashes powers within the ladies. The cast also includes Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright.
The show got off to a slow start on September 23rd with a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.5 million total viewers. The second installment fell to a 2.3 in the demo and 6.57 million viewers. The third week fell again to a 1.8 and 5.14 million.

In the weeks that followed, the ratings didn’t get any better and more frequently got worse. Last week, Eastwick hit an all-time low of 1.5 in the demo and 4.4 million.
ABC has opted to pull the show from the schedule for two weeks. This Wednesday, it’s replaced by the Country Music Awards. Next week, it’s being bumped for an interview special called In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson. Though Eastwick is scheduled to return on Thanksgiving eve with a new episode, the supernatural drama won’t be around for long after that.
ABC has decided not to order any additional episodes of Eastwick, effectively cancelling the series after 13 episodes. It’s unknown if the last episode will wrap up the ongoing storylines. For now, ABC plans to air all six remaining installments but, if the ratings keep declining, the network could easily pull the series before that happens.

I have tried to contact ABC but they make it very difficult to contact them. Unless the show is on tv you cannot contact them!!! I’m in the UK and Eastwick was showing on Halmark over here. My next task is to try to contact them and hopefully let them see how popular this show was and we want it back!!!!!
I love Eastwick .. I stay up late just to watch that show…. I can believe its over, how will I ever know what would of happened ?? too sad ;(

I think it’s BS, that’s what I think. Give the show a chance to develope and put it on a a reasonable time.
I loved that show and so does my husband. They should have atleast wrapped up the show in a final episode. There are so many unanswered questions. I hope they see that there are alot of people that loved that show and want it back!!!!
Ha. I should have known. Something decent on television and it gets the boot. I guess we’ll all have to suffer through another season on a bunch of wannabe rock stars and dance troops hopping around while some washed up celebrity hosts get to put their two cents in…….Maybe I can find some re-runs of M.A.S.H
ABC is the reason the show failed cause thats the best show in the world i will never ever ever watch abc again i hate them for canceling that show
Eastwick is the best show in the world. Its ABC’s fault the ratings went down….I dont think i’ve ever seen previews for the show so maybe if they did that then the ratings wouldn’t go down cause the show is amazing. I have no respect for ABC and will NEVER watch that channel again.
What the Hell. Eastwick is one of my favorite shows. You can’t just stop it after one season. That’s not right, people do watch it. Just because there isn’t 10million people watching it doesnt mean it shouldnt be aired. 4.4mil is alot of people. I being one of them. Don’t give up after one season. Keep it going. HOW COULD THEY!! I LOVED THAT SHOW! They should definitley give the show another chance, and this time show off the show more put bullitians,posters, something so that people know about this show, why else would there be low ratings obivously they didnt do a good job on putting the show out there! Its a great show and i hate to see it get cancelled. this sucks….the show finally starts to differ from the movie and they cancel it….i wish abc would pull their heads out of their butts and realize that hc neilson does not represent the actual american house hold…. it only brings a select few peoples views to the table wile the other 80% of us sit here begging and pleading for them not to cancel it……
I can’t believe its cancelled!!! I loved that show!! I have watched Lindsay Price since her 90210 and Lipstick Jungle days!!!!!! Love her!! I also love Rebecca Romijin!!! All the characters were really great on this show!! I am so sick of cancelling shows w/o at least 2 chances!! Change the time or day, don’t just cancel right away!!!!!
This is very upsetting. I loved this show. They need to re-air it. I never missed an episode and scheduled my evenings around it if possible.
I’m soooo mad!!!! I loved that show,my husband actually watch it with me without complaining and we would record it also so he wouldn’t miss it from working too late!!! I want the network to try to keep it going. Gosh the last episode left us haning and that sucks so bad!!!!!!!!
I am soooooo mad, they can’t cancel it. I loved EASTWICK. I wouldn’t even answer the phone when that show was on. how can they do this. They need to air it again. you can’t stop something after one season.
