Elementary has some new company. Deadline reports Desmond Harrington has joined season six of the CBS TV show.
The crime procedural follows eccentric detective Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Doctor Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) as they help solve crimes in modern-day New York. Aidan Quinn and Jon Michael Hill co-star in the series.
On Elementary, Harrington will play “Michael, a fellow addict in recovery, who once found the inspiration to stay sober in Sherlock’s words at N.A. meetings in the past.” Season six is slated to premiere on CBS in early 2018.

Excellent show. Jonny Lee Miller does quirky and weird very well. Lucy Liu is a great foil. Aidan Quinn is very authentic. Always liked his work.

I think Johnny Lee miller’s portrayal of a contemporary Sherlock Holmes is perfect, I love the series for that.
