What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, Emergency Call documents the first few crucial minutes of emergencies as told through the lens of America’s 911 call takers. An estimated 240 million calls are made every year to 911 call centers across the country. Hosted by actor Luke Wilson, the program follows the dramatic moments leading up to the arrival of help rather than the events after the firefighters, police, or emergency medical services teams arrive. The series focuses on the extreme, suspenseful, and sometimes humorous stories that flood 911 call centers.

Sure do hope it comes back for a full season. It’s very different from what is on TV and it is extremely well done. 911 dispatchers are exceptional people doing a nearly impossible job so it is great to see them realistically and respectfully portrayed. It is excellent television and well worth the time to watch.

You should not cancel emergency call i really enjoy this show give it a chance it was just put on t.v. please so not cancel it.
I like it alot. I think would be better if they can show some of the actions w rescue.
The show would stand a better chance to get viewers if they cut down on the number of commercials….right now there are too many which is why I quit watching the show.

I am a 911 dispatcher and yeah the show is entertaining but nothing like what we really do or how the calls really are. It’s giving us a false image in the publics eye and the public should view this as just another show on TV and not what it is really like inside a dispatch center.
I really liked the show! Please don’t cancel it! I am an RN and was on trauma call for years. It’s good to see another perspective of the emergency. We are all in this together!
As a retired 911 Operator, and a retired adrenaline junkie, I really hope the show is renewed. It is a real life emergency show with real life experiences. Very well produced!

I just got started watching Emergency Call. I got hooked on the show. Got a bunch of my friends watching it. Please bring it back. They took Live PD off and Cops. Don’t take this show away, too.

911 is a good dramatic show, but a bit far fetched. It’s like watching the Rookie and trying to relate it to real life…
Emergency Call is much more true to life and can give folks an idea what it’s like to be a 911 Operator #adrenalinerush911
Please do not cancel 911 dispatch show it gives us a out look at real emergencies are handled by the dispatchers. We need this right now in this day and age with being in the moment of urgent fast thinking on you best thinking on a whim and not knowing what call will be next. It’s the best show ever. Please renew it.
