What’s This TV Show About?
A Freeform family drama, The Fosters stars Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Hayden Byerly, Noah Centineo, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, and Cierra Ramirez. The story centers on Stef Foster (Polo), a dedicated police officer, and school administrator Lena Adams (Saum). An interracial lesbian couple, Stef and Lena are raising a blended family of foster, biological, and adopted kids, in San Diego.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of The Fosters averaged a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 619,000 viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 27% and down by 23%, respectively. Learn how The Fosters stacks up against the other Freeform TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Though the ratings are still positive, I wouldn’t be surprised if this TV series ends with season five, and that nice 100 episode sized syndication package. Remember what happened with Switched at Birth. Although its fourth season received higher ratings than season four of The Fosters, eventually, Freeform announced that family drama would end with season five. I started watching this show at the beginning of October and have been hooked. I was a foster child and seeing the good in this show has helped me. I was never brave and I always took the bs, but watching this show has opened up my eyes to what I’ve been so blind to for so many years. Keep the show, and thank you to all the wonderful foster parents out there that do right by the foster kids that come into there home.

Renewed I started watching and was hooked now I come to the end and I just want more!
I am so impressed by the talent in this show and also by the story line. It’s solid!
They bring up matters that are plaguing our world today, in real time! This show really represents the family of today, the family of the future. Please keep this show going. I am so hooked on this amazing TV show and I also felt that I was learning about different subjects I had wondered about as I went along with them with each season.

It’s a great show would love to see another season there’s so many cliffhanger.
Please don’t cancel this wonderful show. Superb acting by Teri Polo and Sherri Saum especially. This show still has plenty of life left in it.
I can see why they wouldn’t bother with a season 6, I watched the first four seasons, but couldn’t even finish 5A. This one’s run its course.
Please don’t stop The Fosters
I would like you to have more seasons of The Fosters. There is so much more to tell. We really need season six.

Keep the fosters it’s a loveing show that people can maybe relate to and feel the joy and happyness to watch I know I do. Keep this going because it’s a great show with great actors I have watch This TV show 2 times already I love it thag much! Helps me connect to things
