God Friended Me was recently cancelled by CBS, and now the cast is reacting to the move by the network. Brandon Michael Hall, Violett Beane and others on the cast spoke about the series ending on social media.
Per TV Line, Hall revealed the following about the cancellation of God Friended Me:
“There’s something to be said for an artist to be able to wake up every single day and work with a group of people who you can honestly call your family. The hardest thing is knowing I’m not going to be able to… work with them [every day].”

So upset! This has been one the few shows that I even bother to watch. Yes, probably another silly comedy will take it’s place. What are they thinking?!
God Friended Me was well written and beautifully played by the actors young and older. We will miss this show.

God Friended Me. My favorite show. Of course you cancel it. It wasn’t violent, no sexing, no dirty language, was family friendly, add it is the only program that offers hope. I’m very sad to hear that GFM has been cancelled. It’s uplifting to see people helping others solve their problems. The cast worked exceptionally well together. I will greatly miss this show.
One of the few shows I really liked on regular TV. It is a “feel good” show that is something lacking in a lot of the programming these days. I’ll miss it Sunday nights.

Noooo…I love this show!! I do not want it to be gone. I look forward to it and I know my sister and her family and their home also do. I have two other girlfriends that watch it regularly with whom I talk to about what’s going on in the show!
I love the actors and I love the diversity of the people that act on the show. Plus seeing so so many strong young people lead a cast with such diverse backgrounds is so cool.
So there is for once a nice wholesome show. A show without cursing, you can watch with your kids or grand kids. A show that was truly enjoyable to watch. You decide to take it off the air for what reason? Do we need more reality shows, cop shows. What???? America needs right now more than ever good wholesome family shows. Be smart and bring it back

Please do not cancell God Friended Me television show. It’s the most positive and important show on television right now. With everything going on, we need this hope!
It was a great show the only one I watched on network television. They always seem to decide to cancel the good shows. Wishing the cast all the best they did a great job!
