God Friended Me was recently cancelled by CBS, and now the cast is reacting to the move by the network. Brandon Michael Hall, Violett Beane and others on the cast spoke about the series ending on social media.
Per TV Line, Hall revealed the following about the cancellation of God Friended Me:
“There’s something to be said for an artist to be able to wake up every single day and work with a group of people who you can honestly call your family. The hardest thing is knowing I’m not going to be able to… work with them [every day].”

I’m so disappointed to see this show end. It’s truly a show I look forward to. I love the cast and the premise of the show. Even though I am not a religious person, it’s heartwarming to see positive things happen…. Wish CBS would reconsider ♀️
What??? This was an excellent show on every level: plot, actors, settings. And audience was growing. Sad that an entertaining & uplifting show is cancelled show when it’s most needed.

I Am so upset to I am a 12 year old girl and this show brought me joy and also closer to god I watch this with my family I want them to make another decision about doing this.

This show was a bright spot in my week. It got people thinking about God helping people. Great show. What we need on TV are more stories about God’s goodness, not less. I will certainly miss it.
I can’t believe that this uplifting show has been cancelled for season 3. CBS you guys need to understand that there are people who enjoy watching TV with there family without heavy sex scenes or bad language. This cast was amazing together . You should rethink your decision you are getting rid of a wonderful loved show. Great job goes out to the cast and crew.

I was very disappointed when I heard the show was cancelled. I am a big fan and love all of the cast. I have never missed a show. I surely hope to see all of the cast on new shows. Just wish they could be together. A big shame.

Cbs kept changing the nights that it was supposed to be on never knew if it was going to be shown or not love the show

I don’t understand why you are cancelling God friended me! It’s A great show that my whole family can watch! It should stay on! Very Disappointed. But you choose to keep smuty shows like love island. Come on CBS you could do better! Keep God friended me!
Can’t believe it would be cancelled, shocked to see at the end of the show about a 2 hour series finale. Big mistake CBS.
Very disappointed on the cancellation of GFM. My Family has faithfully watched this show since the beginning. The show and the cast are GREAT. CBS this is one of the reconsider your decision shows.
