What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Hallmark Channel the Good Witch TV show stars Catherine Bell, James Denton, Sarah Power, Catherine Disher, Kylee Evans, Katherine Barrell, Marc Bendavid, and Scott Cavalheiro. Set in the town of Middleton, the show follows Cassandra “Cassie” Nightingale (Bell). She’s the owner of a shop called Bell, Book & Candle and is recently married to Dr. Sam Radford (Denton). Like her daughter Grace, Cassie has the gift of enchanted insight and magical intuition. The velvet pouches of soil discovered by Cassie, Abigail (Power), and Joy (Barrell) at the end of season six mark the start of a new Merriwick mystery for the cousins to unravel. This leads them to reflect on their pasts and how certain life events have impacted who they are now. Alongside the usual Middleton fun, season seven promises new relationships, personal challenges, and romance.

Will Hallmark Channel cancel or renew Good Witch for season eight? The show has done very well for Hallmark but Cassie’s been on the air for a long time (since 2008, if you include the movies). At some point, this show will end its run but I suspect it will have a ninth season. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. I agree with many of the comments here. This season of Good Witch doesn’t resemble past seasons at all. It feels like it’s struggling to find a new and more updated identity to reflect the current trends in society. Once a solid show strays from its original premise, cancellation always seems to lurk in the background. In fact, Hallmark channel in general seems to be straying from its roots. What’s with all the worn out reruns?? I hope they find their way in a modern world.
Its surprising that they cancelled a GREAT show that everyone loves and adores. But its always the networks fault and idea to always to the right thing, (for themselves). To cancel a GREAT show that they dont see worth while or money absorbed. Ive been watching this series for awhile now and not alot of GUYS can sit back and understand and feel the warmth of this series/ movies. Shame that the network and producers cant do just that. Hallmark is becoming a network that favors airing reruns of old shows and expecting viewers to pay for a subscription. The Good Witch is a fan favorite and now we all got smacked in the face with the decision to cancel this amazing family show. During the COVID 19 Shutdown, fans had a feeling of normalcy and balance due to this show and now the powers that be have broken that feeling with the cancellation of this series. I would like to see Season 8, but not the way the writers set up Season 7, there was no flow from the previous Good Witch Episodes, Good Witch, Good Witch Charm, Good Witch Destiny. Season 7 was all off and they had all the characters, like they were brand new to “Good Witch” Season 7 with them going into the past memories? It has been cancelled so no season 8
Love this program and have watched it multiple times. I so want a conclusion as I feel left up in the air! Season 8 PLEASE!
I have always loved Good Witch, but IMO, season seven has left it less of a good wholesome family show. I’m disappointed in the changes.
Please please please renew Good Witch. I absolutely love this show and think it deserves another season not dealing with Covid restrictions !

I think the reason the number of viewers are down is bc like us a lot of people went to Hulu. Hallmark is not one of Hulu stations (which I hate). We have Netflix but I can’t get Good Witch to come up. I love and miss the show
I enjoy good witch. It is a good clean family show with fantastic values. I have all the movies and seasons on DVD. Every time I watch it, i see something I’ve missed in the time before I watched. Thank you for keeping it going.
