What do you think? Are you a fan of true crime series? Will you watch Killision Course?
I tried googling the people involved in the first episode and could find nothing. This show is fake! I wasted an hour of my life. Won’t do it again. Very disappointing.
It’s so obvious that these are narrated by actors who are reading from script and not actual investigators, detectives, prosecutors, etc.
Unauthentic stories narrated by unauthentic professionals make for unauthentic viewing and that changes the viewing pleasure.
Some shows they use actors and actresses for real stories but will literally take things out and add things to throw some of the things off…like for example it could be a mother of 3 who was murdered but they will put one child in the scene but then I will see the real story and it’s nothing like what I watched..these shows be based on a true story like when Ryan sister was murdered from black ink chicago..the reenactment was nothing like the real story…I just knew it was the same incident from hearing the story prior and them… Read more »
So disappointing that these episodes are not factual. I tried to get information about one of them (through Google search) and found nothing. Will not watch another.
Definitive proof that everything is fictionalized in this so called ‘unscripted hybbrid’ series, here is a link to an actor taking credit for playing the part of crime reporter Liz Chen in Money Problems: http://www.sarahharuko.com/single-post/2016/11/06/Aired-Killision-Course-series-premiere
I could tell early on, that this show is 95% fiction, the 5% being same gender
Being “same gender”? What has gender got to do with anything?
Ok, I thought I was going crazy. because I always google the names o the people involved when I watch these turn crime shows. and NOTHING was coming up!!!!! glad to see I’m not the only one lol.
I think the Halloween story is based on the murders that happened in Napa Valley. Two roommates were killed by one of the friends jealous fiance’ named Eric Kopple.
For everyone who immediately took to google like I did and found nothing, they do say in the show description they are “recreating true stories’ so it’s likely they changed names and based them off of real homicides that happened in different states, etc. I do agree though there are a lot of distinct identifying characteristics of the crimes they cover and multiple searches haven’t found any case that fits perfectly. The episode I was searching for was Episode 4, and the closest case I could find was Daniel Wozniak who is on Death Row in CA for the double… Read more »
I dont understand the point of the show if the stroies are fake.Waste of time
I dont understand the point of the show if the stories are fake.Waste of time.
Even if you do an internet search on the homicide details, leaving out the names of people and places, nothing comes up.
I think this series is pure fiction.
I agree! I do like this show and any show in the genre. I have also googled the characters and I have found nothing. Its disappointing the this could be made up.
I am familiar with New England crimes and never heard of this one. I googled most of the characters. None of them came up. I googled the detective, prosecutor and journalist who were interviewed. None of them had New England accents and none of them exist. This show is a fraud.
I agree with Tonya. I’m beginning to think it is fiction (At least the Gates House). Why do they use actors for the cops, journalists, etc.????
I have really taken to this series, I would definitely watch it on a regular basis. I love crime series television shows that are from real life stories.
They’re not real. Google the characters. They don’t exist.
I would definitely watch as may seasons as they put out
Very good…hard to believe these things actually happen!!!
I know. I’m trying to look them up and I’m not finding anything about them. I would like to know about the Gates House story, I have found nothing.

Implies the stories are real. Most likely the names are not.
They’re lying. The. Stories are completely made up. It’s not just the names
