TV show description:
This TV series revolves around a guy who’s surrounded by women. Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) is a man’s man who doesn’t understand what’s happened to the world. These days, women run for president, serve in our military, and provide for their family while men sit in tanning beds and get their cuticles shaped. As the marketing director of a sporting goods store called Outdoor Man, Mike dedicates his life to reminding the world what makes men men. With the help of his co-workers Ed and Kyle, Mike uses his Outdoor Man video log to vent his aggression.
Mike’s dedicated wife is Vanessa (Nancy Travis). She’s a caring mother, grandmother, and geologist who doesn’t let her husband get away with much. After taking a career break to raise her three daughters, Vanessa returned to work and quickly received a promotion. That leaves less time for her family and for taking care of Mike, much to his chagrin.
Kristin Baxter (Alexandra Krosney, then Amanda Fuller) is an independent 20-year-old single mother who’s constantly fighting the urge to take a nap. Between chasing around her baby son, Boyd, and working at a diner, she rarely has a moment to herself. Kristin recently moved back in with her family, which has allowed her the luxury of free child care and a few moments of much-needed rest.
Mandy Baxter (Molly Ephraim then Molly McCook) is Mike and Vanessa’s self-centered 17-year-old daughter. She loves spending her father’s income and also uses her free time to updating her website, Mandyland, and going out for mani-pedis with her boyfriend. She can’t tell you who won the civil war, but she already knows who will win on The Bachelorette this season. Constantly connected, Mandy is always texting, blogging, and vlogging.
Eve Baxter (Kaitlyn Dever) is the youngest, toughest, and most athletic Baxter daughter. She isn’t interested in clothes, make-up, or what her hair looks like and would rather play full-contact football with the Broncos. Not surprisingly, she’s Mike’s little buddy.
Mike is employed by Ed Alzate (Hector Elizondo), the thick-skinned and opinionated owner of Outdoor Man. An old-school guy, he essentially wrote the book on how to live a man’s life. With his years of experience, Ed coaches Mike on how to handle his problems both at work and at home.
Working under Mike is Kyle, a charming, naive young man who’s desperately in need of a dominant male role model. At the store, he mainly performs mindless and humiliating tasks that no one else will do. His long blond hair and submissive personality may not make him first pick on the football field, but he holds his own at Outdoor Man.
Episode #194 — Keep on Truckin
After Mike’s beloved truck is stolen, just as he completes his 10-year renovation on it, the Baxter family and friends gather together for an emotional goodbye.
First aired: May 20, 2021.
What do you think? Do you like the Last Man Standing TV show? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a 10th season?

My husband says cancelling Last Man Standing “STINKS”!
I feel it is absolutely ridiculous!!!!! It is one of the only shows that my husband and I can watch together!!!
And I love how it can open things up for discussion or say exactly what you would like to say——-no matter what your opinion is!!!!!!!!
Please bring it back!!!!
How stupid can you be. Always letting the good shows go and the ones that
aren’t worth anything stay. I want to say bring them back, but I would probably be wasting my time. You are forgetting about us not liberal people that like
shows like that one. Don’t forget we can always not watch your TV shows at
all, how would that be? Maybe we need to boycott the rest of your shows.
Stop cancelling all the good shows i limed this shozw because Tim Allen told it how it was
We Really liked that show was entertaining funny and it did it without being vulgar wish it was coming back for another season. Very sad in Colorado
My favorite show.No more ABC shows for us!
So sad to see this Last Man Standing cancelled. My husband and I both looked forward to watching this on Friday nights and we’ve been enjoying watching the reruns on Hallmark. Hopefully, Hallmark will pick it up as it’s a great show!
I was very upset when Last Man Standing was cancelled – this show was on the top for followers, ratings. you need to bring this show back. Most of the shows now that are on are not up to this show standards. This is a top-rated show and should be returned to the network immediately.
My 2nd favorite comedy on TV, ABC will lose a lot of followers. Would like to see Hallmark pick it up, as they have re-runs along with other excellent shows (such as Jesse Stone movies).
Very upset that they cancelled this show! I have always enjoyed watching it, and Tim Allen cracks me up…I was shocked to hear it was cancelled because I don’t remember a show in the series, that didn’t make me laugh. We need more things in this world that make a person laugh. There was always some kind of lesson to learn from the show too. Coming from a family that had 4 girls and a father that had to deal with that, it kind of hit home…wish they would rethink that decision!
If they cancel Last Man Standing, which is a great show, then I will probably stop watching ABC. It’s a shame that some people feel threatened by a conservative point of view!
I don’t watch “family shows” on ABC,NBC or FOX because they chastise the male now days. I happened to see reruns of Last Man Standing on cable and watch a couple of them while eating dinner. The shows are hilarious and the cast are all top performers. I can assume that the show is to upsetting to the liberals. This last election was to much for them to face and are getting vehement at anything Republican. Wah,wah, wah to the sponsors!
I enjoyed watching this show because it makes you feel happy. such a good comedy . we need more comedies
Well another GOOD show gone. what a shame the show was good and the cast was great. I guess if it had to do with Liberal story lines 100% it would have been picked up. We love ya Tim and the rest of the cast, maybe someone will pickup this show. Maybe if the show was about fresh air and cars that run on farts it would have been renewed
So Taken so many great shows.. when we can as a family sit and watch good shows . I mean a great show and so many others. Mabe and hope and pray that a smart station will pick up on an other station. And can make them. A number station.. too many democratic are running what we should watch and see. That’s so sad… We all know WHY YOU ALL DOING.. AND I WILL JUST MAKE SURE ALOT OF PEOPLES FIND A BETTER NETWORK.
ABC and FOX. YOU ******* SUCK. Get off your high horse and quit being scared of a bunch of MORON liberals, and grow some balls. Bring back ” Last Man Standing ” and you just might live long enough to enjoy life.
