Looks like Lucifer Morningstar isn’t quite a lucky devil any longer. His show’s ratings have fallen year after year and so, FOX has cancelled its Lucifer TV show. Sadly, fans of the supernatural crime drama won’t be seeing a fourth season this fall.
A FOX comedy-drama, Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Tricia Helfer, Scarlett Estevez, and Tom Welling. The supernatural procedural centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (German) crack cases.
Lucifer: A Look at the Ratings
The third season of Lucifer is averaging a 0.83 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.30 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 20% and down by 10%, respectively. While those declines aren’t huge, the series has seen dips in its ratings each season and the series could easily have been cancelled before. Apparently, the ratings dipped just a bit too low.
Out of the scripted FOX TV shows we’re tracking, Lucifer ranks 13th in terms of its demo performance and rises to 10th place in terms of average total audience size.
Lucifer showrunner Joe Henderson broke the bad news this afternoon.
So… yeah. #Lucifer has been cancelled. And it fucking HURTS. I loved this show so damn much and everyone put their heart and soul into it. Heartbreaking doesn't begin to describe.

The defacto series finale airs Monday, May 14th.

I dont understand how Lucifer was canceledby fox everyone I know is into the show…therw got to be something wrong on how they count how many viewers are are watching the show…i never get to watch it live..always dvr the show and so does half of the world..could this be what the throws the number of people watching it off..just don’t understand how stupid shows stay on and all the goos ones get canceled…im starting to be very frustrated with fox
Please bring Lucifer back for a 4th season. Its an awesome show.
Lucifer is one of the BEST shows !! I can’t believe you are going to throw it all away. I hope you will reconsider and keep Lucifer on. But, If Lucifer can’t continue then AT LEAST please have a few more episodes so all of us faithful viewers can see a proper ending for all the great characters that we have grown to love….
So terrible that lucifer had been cancelled. I was looking forward to season 4. I hope another channel like Netflix pick it up. Devastating that the series was canx by Fox TV.
Please do not cancel this creative and intriguing show. Funny and serious. Never boring. Great acting.
I’m so disappointed by this. Great shows like this get canceled yet the stupid reality shows are going strong season after season. So sick of shows like The Bachelor , Bachelorette, The Voice , American Idol, Big Brother, etc…. SAD SAD SAD!!!!!
My wife and I are devastated that such an exceptionally well written and well acted show is being cancelled. This show, to us, was one of the highlights of the Fox TV line-up and we sincerely believe that they will never come up with another show that would compare in popularity (despite what the “numbers” may show) to the now cancelled Lucifer. Bad move & bad choice, FOX!!
Why would you cancel this awesome show it’s the only think that makes me look forward to mondays and now they did it !!! She finally she his true form and says it’s TRUE it’s all true and end it that way … Then cancel the show like omg so not cool … I want it back on

Bad idea should have seen what happens now that Chloe has seen the real Lucifer! Should play it out!
Please give Lucifer another chance. The show needed to be more publicized. What can we say, we loved it enough to rearrange our evening to watch it. The character of the devil on earth and all his shenanigans, and then being introduced to his siblings and friends. I could hardly wait to see what story line they would have for the next episode. Please reconsider your choice.

Please don’t cancel Lucifer. One of the best shows. Everyone loves good verses evil and when you see evil turning good because of love, it is the best. Acting is also great. Please reconsider. Thank you
I don’t understand any of the networks. Except for a very few series everything is not worth turning the tv on. If the polls say not enough viewers, no one ever calls me to ask if I watch it. Along with series Deception on ABC.
