MacGyver is getting closer to its final episode. The series, a reboot of the popular 1980s series of the same name, was cancelled by CBS earlier this month, and the series finale will air on April 30th. The network has now released details and photos for the farewell episode. The episode titled “Abduction + Memory + Time + Fireworks + Dispersal” will find Mac (Lucas Till) and Riley (Tristan Mays) in a tough situation.
CBS revealed the following about the series finale of MacGyver:
“When Mac and Riley go missing and wake up 24 hours later in a corn field with no memory of how they got there, they must unravel the mystery to find who took them, and how to get rid of the nanotrackers in their bodies, no matter the cost, on the series finale of MACGYVER, Friday, April 30 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”

MacGyver is the only Friday night drama not returning next season. CBS renewed both Blue Bloods and Magnum PI yesterday. The network also renewed NCIS, Bull, and SWAT.

I am always disappointed when a program that shows other ideas to problems can be found. It was nice to see a group that gets together in a positive way.
I truly didn’t want the show to end! It was a terrific show that certainly didn’t receive the send off it deserved!!!
I am always broken hearted lately by the net works. They make decisions without thinking of the fans. The cbs Friday night lineup was one I looked forward to. I just don’t understand why they don’t care about the fans. I’m not the only one that will miss macgyver. I love that show.

It is not fair, there are good shows that are gone, but by all means let us keep the trust shows going strong.
Please renew Macgyver. It is such a good show. The science aspect of it is fabulous.

I want Macgyver to continue with a 6th season and would Macgyver to find that Jack isn’t really dead.

I think the show should change networks. Still a lot of good stories left in the show. Great cast. Time to pull a MacGyverism out and come out a winner.

Keep MacGyver, why cancel a good show. It make no sense.
