There are more Manifest mysteries to be solved but viewers won’t get answers on the peacock network. NBC has cancelled the TV series so, there won’t be a fourth season.
An action-drama series, the Manifest TV show stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long, and Holly Taylor. After a turbulent but routine flight, the crew and passengers of Flight 828 disembarked to find the world had aged more than five years. Their friends, families, and colleagues had given up hope of ever seeing them again. In season three, faced with the impossible, the passengers’ dreams of a second chance at life evaporate as they encounter imminent dangers surrounding them, both tangible and unexplained. In season three, new challenges will test the Stone family’s trust of “the callings” and each other. Sticking together is more important than ever, because no matter what happens, it’s all connected.
The third season of Manifest averaged a 0.47 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.07 million viewers in the live+same day ratings. Compared to season two, that’s down by 31% in the demo and down by 21% in viewership. The finale aired last week.
Manifest creator Jeff Rake has spoken about having a six-season plan for the show and broke the news of the cancellation via Twitter.

Warner Bros. TV, which co-produces the series, is expected to shop season four elsewhere. Manifest has reportedly performed well on Netflix so the streamer may be an option.

I was so pissed that that NBC cancelled the show that I wrote them a letter. I doubt anything will come of it but I felt the need to do something. I really do hope that this show finds a new home.

I didn’t want to get sucked into another network show (Flashforward comes to mind), but the plot seemed interesting so I took a chance. I liked it, and hoped the mysteries would be solved before cancellation! WRONG AGAIN! At least Timeless came back with a final movie to tie up loose ends! This season’s storyline/finale was better than previous ones . . . UNBELIEVABLE! NEVER AGAIN!
Thankfully, The Americans wasn’t on network TV!
The show seemed to me to be written by sixth graders. So ridiculous. When I watched the finale I knew it was the end. They painted themselves into a corner of ridiculousness. It was so bad it was good! I’d still watch it!
This means many NBC viewers were loyal to manifest and left hanging At least one more season would have been respectful so there could have been an ending to a complex story line. Makes one cautious about the network’s trust issues.

Typical NBC. They always cancel all the good shows on a cliffhanger . They have to make room for more reality crap. I’LL NEVER WATCH NBC EVER!!!!!

Such a surprise Manifest got cancelled, especially after that finale! My mouth fell open and stayed open for quite a while as the episode ended. I really thought this show would make it to 6 seasons as planned, but NBC said no? Wow! I hope it gets revived somewhere else to finish the planned story the writers came up with. Hopefully it’s being shopped elsewhere!

Manifest is one of only three prime time shows we watch on television. It is an intelligent, intriguing, well-written, incredibly well-acted show that we watch several times over, trying to figure out what will happen next. I know we aren’t in the important demographic (91, 89, and 67 years old), but we are HUGE FANS of Manifest! We are CRUSHED that it has been cancelled by NBC, and eagerly await news of its new home!
I loved watching manifest. They cut the show out and not finishing the storyline makes me not want to watch anymore series again.
Love Manifest. I have seen every episode. I hope they can find a network to keep it going.
I’m devastated by the cancellation of “Manifest”. I’m so disappointed in NBC . Hopefully, Netflix will pick up the series and will continue with season 4 and more. Netflix never disappoints!
What a disappointment. We really enjoyed Manifest from the start. Great cast and story. What is going on here? Lately it seems that every great show gets cancelled.
I am so sad that NBC chose to cancel one of the best shows I have ever watched. I didn’t ever miss one show from the start. They abandoned the show in the middle of a crucial part of this show. I wished they would have seen it threw to the end. I sure hope it gets picked by one of the other entertainment media’s. There has not been a show like this and it deserves a company that is dedicated to the talent and imagination Jeff Rake has a fantastic story here!! Please #savemanifest
Total bummer by NBC. It was a great show and I hope it gets picked by Hulu or Netflix for Season 4.
I’m on episode 3 in season 3. Really sad to see this one go. I watch very little new tv for fear of a show getting cancelled. This was the first series I’d started in years because I thought the premise was enough of a hook to keep going. As it is, it feels like I’m half way through a book that somebody ripped out the last chapter…. Nothing like building a puzzle only to find it’s missing 10 pieces.
