Last season, SEAL Team was one of the lowest-rated scripted TV shows on CBS that was still renewed for the 2019-20 season. Will the numbers improve in season three? Could they drop lower? Will SEAL Team be cancelled or renewed for season four? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
A military drama TV show, SEAL Team stars David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, Toni Trucks, Jessica Paré, and Judd Lormand, with Brock Reynolds, Trent Sawyer, and Naima Perry in recurring roles. The action-adventure series centers on an exclusive Navy SEAL unit as they train for, plan, and risk their very lives to carry out perilous missions for the sake and honor of the U.S.A. Fierce and focused Jason Hayes (Boreanaz) leads the Tier One team. Despite the hardship it causes them and their families, this SEAL team is ready, willing, and able to embark upon secret missions at the drop of a hat. Team members include Jason’s trusted confidant, Ray Perry (Brown Jr.); loyal yet self-destructive Sonny Quinn (Buckley); and young Clay Spenser (Thieriot), a multilingual and second-generation SEAL. Others who are vital to the team’s success are troop commander Lt. Cdr. Eric Blackburn (Lormand); CIA analyst Mandy Ellis (Paré); and Ensign Lisa Davis (Trucks).
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. What do you think? Do you like the SEAL Team TV series on CBS? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
*5/6/20 update: CBS has renewed the SEAL Team TV show for a fourth season.
SEAL TEAM is a FANTASTIC, REALISTIC show! I strongly recommend that it be renewed. Specifically, the show has a great balance of technical combat narrative vs dialogue/plot line. I really look forward to watching SEAL TEAM to see what situation and part of the world is highlighted in the episode. I never miss DVRing an episode (I’m not available to watch when airs on Wed nights and prefer DVR so I can FF thru commercials and get to the show!) — hopefully this still counts in the ratings. I would be truly disappointed if this show were cancelled. PLEASE DO… Read more »

Seal Team is a Great show! We look forward to watching it every week. I hope you don’t cancel it.
Please renew. Each character is so unique something unusual in today’s shows. Honestly we only watch TV 2 nights a week. Tuesday and Wednesday.
I hope it’s renewed.
I think it should be renewed
This is a great show. The actors are excellent.
SEAL Team has a lot of realism, yet doesn’t betray operational security or glamorize the mortality of the work Naval Special Warfare conducts. It is very well crafted in theme and script. This is an excellent program and I hope it enjoys a long run. Keep the team intact!
Seal Team is my favorite show! Please don’t cancel it!
Seal team is the best show on tv
They need to come back. There the best
I love this show, when will it return in 2020?
