Showtime has ordered a TV show pilot for a Rolling Stone magazine inspired docu-series. The show’s half-hour episodes would feature stories covered by Rolling Stone. The Hollywood Reporter compares the pilot to, “…TV extensions of a magazine brand including HBO‘s Vice and Amazon‘s New Yorker Presents.”

The pilot comes from Left/Right. Rolling Stone’s Gus Wenner will executive produce with Left/Right’s Banks Tarver and Ken Druckerman.
