The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

Star deserves a 4 season. Is there any way that Lee Daniel’s can shop the TV show to other Networks. Maybe they need to try some more crossovers between star and Empire. I believe they should have one more seasoned to see if they can bring the ratings backup. We gave Empire a change ,why w can’t give Star a chance. Who do we need to write to? How do I get in touch With Lee Daniel’s? Help
What can we do to get at least one more season. Can Lee Davis see if he can shop it to another network. Star and Empire goes together. Do more cross over between the two. Someone help us with this please. I’ve never cared so much about a show until now
What!? That makes me so mad! How can that be!? Empire and Star is what makes Fox! And in my opinion Star was getting better then Empire! The way the third season ended, there has to be a fourth season!! You can not leave it hanging like that! I will stop viewing Empire without Star!

Don’t cancel the show not with the series ending like that. Why do the true fans like us no matter who few or many have to loose a show we religiously watch because a a few ppl didn’t watch. Maybe they had life changing events that prevented them to watch this season or maybe they are like me and decide to wait til season is over to be able to binge watch it. I say please don’t cancel the show. Please
