What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Syfy cable channel in the United States, SurrealEstate is a Canadian paranormal drama series that stars Tim Rozon, Sarah Levy, Adam Korson, Maurice Dean Wint, Savannah Basley, and Tennille Read. The story follows an elite team of specialists at The Roman Agency who handle the cases no one else can — haunted and possessed houses that literally scare would-be buyers away. Researching, investigating, and “fixing” the things that go bump in the night, the team works to create closure (and closings) even as they struggle with demons of their own. Nick Roman (Rozon) is the owner and has gained a whispered reputation as someone who could sell the haunted houses that nobody else could. Susan Ireland (Levy) is an enormously successful realtor who doesn’t believe in ghosts or hauntings. Father Phil Orley (Korson) is the agency’s research specialist while August Ripley (Wint) specializes in technology, and Zooey L’Enfant (Basley) serves as the agency’s office manager. Meanwhile, Megan Donovan (Read) is a medical student who just inherited a house from her grandfather.
Season One Ratings
The first season of SurrealEstate averaged a 0.06 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 315,000 viewers in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM). While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but the higher-rated series are typically renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled. Find out how SurrealEstate stacks up against other Syfy TV shows.
SurrealEstate has been saved from cancellation, and a second season will debut on October 4, 2023. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Will Syfy cancel or renew SurrealEstate for season two? This series is produced for CTV Sci-Fi Channel in Canada and likely doesn’t cost Syfy much to air. I suspect that it will be renewed in Canada and Syfy will air season two in the United States. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. 5/11/2022 update: After being cancelled, SurrealEstate has been revived and renewed for season two.

What do you think? Are you glad that the SurrealEstate TV show has been renewed for a second season?
One of the only reasons I started watching SYFY channel again. Bring it back!!!! What a great show.
Bring the show back. A very good show. Give the show a chance. Should not be or been canceled.Refreshing and new. Stop showing re-runs and bring the show back.
A new home for Surreal Estates? Can we all chip in a create a new channel? Selling 1$ a share. How much do we need?
Bring Surreal Estate back!!!! It’s interesting, fun, intriguing, well conceived.
I suggested this show to be added to Netflix hopefully more seasons will come. I really hate for this show to get canceled!!!
I really hope they find someone to pick it up- quality show.
I loved this show…why do they always cancell a show when we were just getting to know the character’s….this show deserves a 2nd or more seasons..
That is really too bad, they always cancel the shows that have great potential and are really good.
No surprise. They made it hard to watch. I don’t watch live tv or shows that have commercials. I buy episodes and this was the only series they didn’t allow to be sold
Shame on syfy, was looking forward to season2.Never give a smart show a chance, just all the inane shows!
I hope this show finds another home! Boo to you Syfy!
It has been cancelled as of Oct. 19.
I just found this series on SYFY and it’s very good! I was looking for a good show to replace my favorite spooky but with a story show Supernatural when it wrapped up 15 incredible years. The show has big shoes to fill, but it has alot of the same characteristics Supernatural had. The first 10 episodes have me hooked and I really hope it gets picked up for a second season and beyond. It follows the same premise with the monster of the week and backstories of the characters. The writing is excellent and around the 4th episode it… Read more »
Ok, so I think I only commented on SYFY’s page only..anyhow..I loved Surreal Estate! I’m very interested in the paranormal so this show was right up my alley..The cast did a great job and left us with quite a cliffhanger..I’m also a horror movie fan, but not into slashers that much, or zombies either.I bring that point up because if they can keep shows on like Chucky, or Day of the Dead, then surely SYFY can keep an even better show on like Surreal Estate for the rest of us who aren’t into the shows I just mentioned and the… Read more »
I enjoyed the Surreal Estate season one very much and have high hopes there will be a second season. I like story line, the characters and it is just creepy enough to make you want to keep going without over doing it.
