While it’s not yet up on the network press site, Deadline reports The 100 TV show has been renewed for season five on The CW. The sci-fi drama stars Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Devon Bostick, Lindsey Morgan, Christopher Larkin, Isaiah Washington, and Henry Ian Cusick.
According to the report, creator Jason Rothenberg is expected to continue on at The 100, as executive producer and showrunner. That said, he has the Searchers TV show pilot in development, also at The CW. Should it be ordered to series, it is likely they’ll bring on a co-showrunner for The 100.
As it did in 2016 and 2015, The CW has once again issued early renewals to all it returning scripted series currently, except for The Vampire Diaries and Reign, which were previously announced as ending or cancelled.
The CW previously gave renewals to: Arrow (season six), The Flash (season four), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (season three), Supergirl (season three), and that old battle-ax Supernatural (season 13), as well as comedies Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (season three) and Jane the Virgin (season four).
In addition, The CW just renewed Riverdale, for a second season, earlier this week. As noted in the report, their other new series, No Tomorrow and Frequency, are less likely to be renewed.

The fourth season The 100 is averaging a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.23 million viewers. Compared to the season three ratings, that’s down by 20% in the demo and down by 20% in viewers. Learn how The 100 stacks up against the other CW TV shows.

This show should be cancelled it’s so bad now, there is nobody good left on it anymore and the characters that are there went downhill bigtime.
This show should definitely be continued. My favourite. Deserves another season, if not one more after that, too. Anazing plot with the best characters and actors.
everything in the show is great, the Actors you couldn’t ask for any better, and the plot is always intense, but overtime I see Clarke going to bed with another women Is a little disturbing And should be cut out.
Oh why is that, so the homophobes can have their little Twilight victory?? If Clarke wants a woman, she deserves to have one and there is nothing wrong with that.
I totally agree about clarkes charachter its unnecessary and doesnt add anything good to the series I think clarke and bellamy would great together
This show has become horrendous. So Niylah girl is being treated as Clarke’s slave/prostitute with no dignity, they killed off all the good grounders exceptone and including beautiful Lexa lead grounder of the show after she finally has sex with the girl she loves AND now it is trying to do a pathetic 13 Reasons Why subplot. Jason just STOP because you are killing your own show.

I have watched this series from the beginning. Love it. Sure hope that they continue it.
With the ratings it’s getting and bad quality writing that it has become, it is undeserving.

Scraping by at only 800’000 viewers, I think they will need to rethink this, certainly it ends next season, hopefully in Clarke’s demise.

Who cares at this stage. The damage is already done with this show and the grounder discrimination is prominent as ever. So many expendable sky rats nobody cares about and if they didn’t bring back Lexa (whose death hurt the ratings badly), how is Roan going to save it? He isn’t because people just had enough. Let it die.

I agree, just look at how damaged ratings are now, the problem is they always target the lesbian couple, always. The show pretended to be about justice and equality and now it’s anything but. It was all a farce.
This show sucks!!!!!!!!! Background music so loud u can’t here actors speaking. FYI…. no one cares about background music when they can’t understand actors! Do a better job on next series..

I love this show! It’s one show my family actually watches together. We all love it and we order take out and watch together as a family. One thing the whole family can agree on is a win 🙂
