What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC psychological thriller, The Enemy Within stars Jennifer Carpenter, Morris Chestnut, Raza Jaffrey, Kelli Garner, Cassandra Freeman, and Noah Mills. The character-based drama centers on former CIA operative and now infamous traitor Erica Shepherd (Carpenter) and FBI Agent Will Keaton (Chestnut). In order to apprehend a looming threat, Keaton must tap Shepherd’s expertise, even though she’s serving a life sentence in a supermax prison.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Enemy Within for season two? Although it premiered with positive numbers, the ratings quickly dropped. Still, NBC needs to establish new series and the network has several lower rated shows. I suspect it will be renewed but it could certainly be cancelled. I would be extremely disappointed if this show was cancelled. It is very entertaining, and one of only two shows that I watch on NBC. Shows like this are bringing me back.

I would be about as upset as I was when I heard Whiskey Cavalier was canceled. And to see ads for the craptastic shows that are lined up for this fall it’s laughable! Please renew my Enemy Within!
I love this show. Don’t leave us hanging. Have to know who the “spy” is. Also the contents are so realistic.

I really loved it, the essence of this fantastic show leaves me thinking about how will they take down the CIA top person who helped Tal, and during the show, it was very interesting to watch as even get to g deeper into it and it’s not like any other show I’ve watched as I do watch a lot of this sort of shows and there’s nothing like the Enemy within, out there and they should renew it for a second season and make it bigger with maybe adding a cult in there to take down like The CIA cult… Read more »
I really hope you renew The Enemy Within for season 2. This is a awesome show & needs to be brought back.
Great show to binge watch, especially without commercials on Hulu. It has a great pace, arc, cast & direction. And even though it gets wrapped up nicely, which I appreciated, it’s also open ended, so I’d like to see a 2nd season – I think they can build a good one, since their interaction between FBI and CIA and Capitol Hill is intriguing, without being far fetched, not in a way I’ve seen before, with an essence of 24, but more believable.
Renew the show. series 2, love the show.❤️
