Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew The Enemy Within for season two? Although it premiered with positive numbers, the ratings quickly dropped. Still, NBC needs to establish new series and the network has several lower rated shows. I suspect it will be renewed but it could certainly be cancelled. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for alerts on The Enemy Within cancellation or renewal news.

What do you think? Were you hoping that The Enemy Within TV series would be renewed for a second season? Are you sorry that NBC cancelled this TV show, instead?
It’s ashame that when you love a show they NBC just pulls the rug out from under you and leave you hanging. So sick of it. We’re just a rating to them. It’s about the rating not what the audience wants.
I really enjoyed watching the enemy within. I wish it would come back to nbc!!!!!
Bring the series back! It was great and so different from the cop shows flooding the channels.
The Enemy within was one of the best TV shows that NBC hat. Big mistake to cancel it it had a lot of mystery suspense and I am sure a loyal bass please bring it back
I really like it too. It’s so hard to get into shows these days because they get canceled so soon
I loved that show it kept me on the edge of my seat.why are the great show being cancelled and they keep the others on that sucks. Please bring back The Enemy Within. Loved loved this series. Looked forward to watch this every week..
I will miss this show. Loved it! Looked forward to every episode!
Sure hope it will be going ahead! !!!!! Love it
Please renew for season two. One of the best prime time drama tv series in my opinion. I never missed an episode.
The Enemy Within deserves to be revived. Morris Chestnut is an amazing actor, so it’s hard to choose which show I would like revived more between this one and Rosewood. Honestly, I was totally invested in Rosewood and am really deeply disappointed to lose that program with such a wonderful cast and storyline. Both programs were high quality and totally engaging. I am now in the process of watching all the reruns for both programs but really bummed they were both cancelled, leaving only a minimum of episodes.
Im amazed so many people are saying this was a good show. They settled on a premise and came up with a terrible narrative to try to explain it. The writing on this show was incredibly bad and Jennifer carpenter was a poor casting choice. She doesn’t have the gravitas to pull off a spy, let alone a deputy director, not is she old enough to portray one. Shes simply unable to be steely enough to exhibit a persona who can make the hard choices; she just comes off as shaky and weak or bitchy.
This was a super good different in some ways show
Other shows are back but lousy
Thanks
I just discovered this series and have spent hours in a short time watching every episode available. It was fantastic and I am bummed that you cancelled it. This is an excellent series and very well written and acted out. I feel you did not advertise prior to the series enough had you done so your following would have been massive. Please bring this series back as it is much better than a lot of the series out there.
One of the best shows NBC has had in a long time and you cancel it. How dumb that move was. Internet tv it is for me as there’s always something interesting watch on there
Canceling all the best shows. And you wonder why people are fleeing to internet TV. I hope the networks all go toes up because of smarter TV on Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Even CBS All Access is better than the cable version. Kudos to CBS for staying with the shows we love!!! And for having the foresight to set up an Internet app ahead of its time. The ONLY network I have slight respect for.
Ii love this show NBC is so stupid.
