CBS canceled The Equalizer, FBI: Most Wanted, and FBI: International in recent weeks, and the woman in charge of CBS has now spoken out about the decisions to end these three shows.
CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach spoke about the three shows during Wednesday’s new CBS 2025-26 schedule announcement. She said the following, according to Deadline:
“It’s not easy to end shows and we had a lot of options this year. The schedule is really full and so we always have to look at all of our shows, look at the aggregate information, the creative of where they are in their life cycle, what the finances look like, what the ratings are, and then we make those tough decisions.
“We love working with Dick Wolf and we’re so excited to bring CIA onto the schedule. We have to be fiscally responsible and ultimately, those deals and the shows just weren’t penciling out for us from an economic perspective. But we want to be in the business with Dick. We’re excited to launch a new two-hour block next season.”
FBI and CIA will join CBS’ Monday schedule next season alongside the final season of The Neighborhood and the new arrival DMV.

I’ll actually miss all three shows. I think they were three of the best that are on. Why would you take off good shows just to put new ones on that you don’t know will even make it? But again that’s what CBS does.
FBI International was one of my favorites. I am unhappy that it was cancelled. Like someone else commented, that’s CBS does. I don’t like it but unfortunately, what I think doesn’t matter. As far as the other two shows, I won’t miss them.
This is what CBS does it cancels the good shows and leaves stupid shows on TV. It’s ridiculous. I can’t believe it, but hey, like I said, this is whatCBS does
I will definitely miss FBI International the other two, not so much
I had stopped watching The Equalizer anyway, so I’m not upset about that. I’m also not that disappointed about FBI: International, although I do still watch all the FBI’s. I do wish they’d keep FBI: Most Wanted.
Since the writer’s strike scripts have been minimalist at best.
Turned off loads of shows because the dialogue is missing.
New season of Criminal Minds emphasises this.

They are some of the best you have on TV, maybe you should think about moving them to your steaming channel, as FBI won’t be the same without the other two to follow
I watch all the FBI shows, equalizer and irrational. I don’t understand why they take good shows off and put stupid ones on. Like others I can’t stand commercials so with Dish I tape everything I watch and it makes for a great evening
I looked forward to the Equalizer every Sunday. So entertaining and exciting!! The characters were so delightful and the acting was excellent. Why would you remove such a great show???!!!

I never miss The Equalizer. There’s nothing comparable on TV. They’re ditching shows because they want to sell Paramount. I’ve subscribed to Paramount+ for years, though with the cancelations, aside from Star Trek shows, it’s very hard to justify the expense.
The very least they can do is allow the programs you’re ditching to be picked up by other services. I would watch The Equalizer anywhere it went, even if I had to subscribe to another service. Same for NCIS Hawaii and the soon to be axed FBI’s. Hoarding shows they won’t continue is mean-spirited
Why cancel all good and popular shows? Bring FBI International, FBI international, SWAT an Equalizer back. This is not right! Amy doesn’t know what she’s doing. I only watch CBS for these shows, survivor and amazing race. NBC should pick up these shows if they’re smart. They don’t really have anything good to watch.
Bring back all three shows. CBS had the best scheduled shows where they needed to be. Sunday – Friday CBS had the best shows. If we couldn’t stay up to watch the later shows. We watched on DVR so we wouldn’t miss an episode. What are you all doing? CBS you are the number one network on tv when it comes to these shows.
Bring back the three shows and keep the niebourhood and cancel naked and afraid or the stupid kardashens
