What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC psychic police procedural, The InBetween stars Harriet Dyer, Paul Blackthorne, Justin Cornwell, Anne-Marie Johnson, Cindy Luna, Chad James Buchanan, Andres Joseph, Michael B. Silver, and Sean Bulger. The paranormal drama centers on Cassie Bedford (Dyer), who is gifted with abilities she often considers a curse. Cassie has unbidden visions of events past and future and is also approached by spirits who need her help in some way. She gets drawn into the cases her foster father, Seattle Police detective Tom Hackett (Blackthorne), works with his new partner, former FBI profiler and LAPD detective Damien Asante (Cornwell).

Will NBC cancel or renew The InBetween for season two? The ratings have been quite low but they have been consistent. I suspect this summer series will be cancelled but NBC could keep it because it’s a summer series and they have lower expectations. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. I think the show should be a full time series not just a summer series. It is great and my girls love watching it with me!

LOVE this show!! I read the Charlaine Harris books where the girl could sense the dead and know what happened to them where they were buried and would hope someone would do a series based off those. Although this is not it, it is the closest thing I have seen to it. PLEASE NBC, don’t cancel it!!
I enjoy it very much. So different from other shows that deal with people that have these abilities. The fact that the main character is reluctant to embrace her ability is more realistic. The surrounding people in her life have respected her decisions, and are supportive as she decides to use her gift on her own terms.
This show is fantastic! NBC needs to do more promoting for this show. Don’t do what you did to The Village. I never heard of this show until someone told me and I watched all shows on demand so I’m current. They didn’t advertise The Village and now it’s gone and they’re doing the same with this great show. Promote it!

I have watched all three episodes. Each time the episode has pulled me in and left me wanting more. It is definitely one of my favorite shows to watch. Great job NBC for finding a show that not only has family but brings us as the viewer to the edge of our seat!
Thanks. I loved the InBetween! I watched the first one on my iPad! The 2nd one one my tv. Just to find out this show not on next Wednesday. Just so you know people outside the ages in your demographic are important too. I want more.
