What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC psychic police procedural, The InBetween stars Harriet Dyer, Paul Blackthorne, Justin Cornwell, Anne-Marie Johnson, Cindy Luna, Chad James Buchanan, Andres Joseph, Michael B. Silver, and Sean Bulger. The paranormal drama centers on Cassie Bedford (Dyer), who is gifted with abilities she often considers a curse. Cassie has unbidden visions of events past and future and is also approached by spirits who need her help in some way. She gets drawn into the cases her foster father, Seattle Police detective Tom Hackett (Blackthorne), works with his new partner, former FBI profiler and LAPD detective Damien Asante (Cornwell).

Will NBC cancel or renew The InBetween for season two? The ratings have been quite low but they have been consistent. I suspect this summer series will be cancelled but NBC could keep it because it’s a summer series and they have lower expectations. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Inbetween was easily the best new summer show. I think their ratings would’ve been much higher if NBC would’ve not messed up, ok just straight out stupid w/airing times of the 1st like 4 episodes, which are the worst to mess up on. It was a new show idiots. If I’m remembering the dates correctly, probably not good idea to air a brand new show’s ep1 & ep2 than 2 wks later ep3 another 2wks later ep4, which is the ep w/lowest ratings. Renew the on between. It’s a good show. I cannot stand reality shows or American idol type of shows or game shows. It seems that everytime a good show comes, it is replaced by something stupid. They took off Lucifer, the Tyrant, and other good shows. The returned is gone as others like it and senseless shows like Preacher and Legion are on. They start out fine but then the storyline changes to something that no one can understand.

Absolutely love this show. The timing, story ideas, Cassie and her compassion, all of it. Please don’t cancel it, many people want to believe there is more to life than is visible. That some can help their fellow humans. That there is more to life than just dishes, work, and death. Let us all dream a little. Here’s hoping you keep it❤️

I would like to see The Inbetween renewed for a full second season. It has great storylines and I love cast. ..especially Cassie.
This is my new favorite show! If it was promoted a bit more I think you would find more people watching it. I had it recording on my DVR and just binge watched it! It held my attention from the beginning to end on every episode. Telling all my friends to watch it!
