Can these doctors fix the system in the fourth season of The Resident TV show on FOX? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Resident is cancelled or renewed for season five. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the fourth season episodes of The Resident here. *Status Update Below.
A FOX medical drama series, The Resident stars Matt Czuchry, Bruce Greenwood, Manish Dayal, Emily VanCamp, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Jane Leeves, and Morris Chestnut. The series follows a group of doctors at Chastain Memorial Hospital, as they face personal and professional challenges on a daily basis. Although its motto is, “Committed to excellence,” the hospital is staffed with human beings, and humans are flawed. In the fourth season, Chastain is transitioning from private to public hospital, causing the hero doctors to fight to fix the broken machine from the inside. The staff includes senior resident internist Conrad Hawkins (Czuchry), resident internist Devon Pravesh (Dayal), nurse practitioner Nicolette Nevin (VanCamp), surgical resident Mina Okafor (Wilson), cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. AJ Austin (Warner), orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Kit Voss (Leeves), neurosurgeon Dr. Barrett Cain (Chestnut), and CEO Dr. Randolph Bell (Greenwood).

This is one of my favorite show and can’t wait to watch it each week
This show is the only medical drama I like to watch that addresses the twisted medical system that goes on behind the scenes! PLEASE don’t cancel this! People need to be aware of that! NOT avoid the obvious!! It always seems like any show that brings out the reality of life gets cancelled! It’s life people! We need more shows like this to make people realize that their not alone in a twisted system like this, fighting the good fight! Just like I love the show Mom, it’s life reality and lessons learned!
I have loved every single episode of The Resident and I will No longer have a reason to watch Fox 4, if The Resident is NOT on the schedule for a 5th season❣️❣️
Sincerely,
Spring B.
Trying to make Cain look good, for some reason?
Hate it! #cancelTheResident

are you kidding me all Conrad and Nic do is make out!!!! They’re gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please renew Resident for season 5.I didn’t wait all this time for it to come back to be cancelled. It’s a great show.
I was pleased to see The Resident briefly address COVID and glad they are moving on from it. All the cast is exceptional, but especially Matt Czuchry. Also, Malcolm-Jamal Warner is one of my favorites. I liked how the story line for the season 4, episode 1 addressed more than just Conrad’s and Nic’s relationship. Loved the wedding. Great start for Season 4.
I love the resident-the one last night on 1/12 was exceptionally good. I certainly hope they don’t cancel it . It is on my must watch weekly.
My sister and I thought this episode of The Resident was super excellent . It made me cry and not many tv shows make me get all emotional. I hope The Resident never gets cancelled.
Loved this episode of the resident! They handled the COVID crisis with dignity and grace! There were no hidden agendas .A beautiful tribute to our brave medical front line workers! Bravo!
FOX – The Resident is one of our favorite TV shows and my husband and I were really looking forward to seeing The Resident series return on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021. But it didn’t take long to realize that this particular episode “A Wedding and a Funeral” was far too much about the COVID crisis – – which is exactly what we are trying to escape! I feel you have made a big mistake We are living COVID and do not want to be entertained by even more COVID.
