What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, The Rookie TV show stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin Jr., Melissa O’Neil, and Eric Winter. The series follows the experiences of John Nolan (Fillion), a middle-aged divorced man from Pennsylvania. He owns a construction company but decides to give up his old life to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. He graduates from the Police Academy and becomes the oldest rookie on the force. He works with Sergeant Wade Grey (Jones), training officers Angela Lopez (Diaz) and Tim Bradford (Winter), and fellow rookies Jackson West (Makin Jr.) and Lucy Chen (O’Neil). As season two begins, John is six months into his career as a cop and is put to the test by new challenges, romantic relationships, and potentially deadly situations.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of The Rookie averaged a 0.64 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.32 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 12% in the demo and up by 4% in viewers. Find out how The Rookie stacks up against other ABC TV shows.

I love this show, but the day and time are a kiss of death for shows. 10pm Sunday night is not good.
Show is a lot of fun to watch and the cast is great. Hope it gets renewed and in a better slot.
Please keep this show going. Too often new series are canceled before they are given a real chance. The last cliffhanger with O’Neil is keeping me on my toes for the next episode. I am so tired of “Reality” TV and this has it all. Action , Drama, Humor. Don’t let a good thing go!

Love Nathan Fillion, but this show is just okay (maybe a 5 out of 10 stars). It could have been a great show, but his supporting cast is SO unlikable. Richard T Jones is good, but I wouldn’t give 2 cents to keep any of the rest. Plot is okay, but they need to start losing the 40+ (cough, cough 50+) year old rookie angle. Its already tired and boring. Show should bring in some new writers, new supporting cast, and start something new with the setup. Nathan is great, but the show is lame.

This is my favorite show. Please don’t cancel it especially after that last cliffhanger. This show has a great cast and there’s always action, humor and I love every minute.

Please renew The Rookie. This is the best show on tv. Nathan Fillion was born to be on television. I loved watching his comedic side on Castle, but he is even better in this show. Amazing cast and storylines! And so many more storylines to come! This show makes Sunday nights better!
