What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC drama, The Village stars Warren Christie, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Dominic Chianese, Darren Kagasoff, Grace Van Dien, and Moran Atias. The story centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least. Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Will NBC cancel or renew The Village for season two? I think it could go either way. Right out of the gate, the ratings weren’t very good, especially for a series that followed NBC’s This Is Us drama. However, the ratings remained pretty consistent and saw some improvement when it was moved to an earlier timeslot. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Of course this show got canceled. It was too good to actually be renewed. Soooo disappointing!
Finally a great show about how we all pull together to raise a family, diverse and respectful something needed in this day and age and it was cancelled.

Please bring back the village. It is a fantastic show and very true and real life, the show is very inspiring.
I am extremely disappointed to hear that there may not be a season two of the TV series the village as a critic, I judged it to be excellent TV drama.

This is a very good show please bring it back I understand ratings but it should go by the amount of viewers the show has a really cool vibe heartbreaking and made me cry I love it take in consideration, beside it wont end right I want to see how it ends. You left us in and what. With no ending.

THE VILLAGE Why would it be cancelled? Please bring it back every good show gets cancelled and the bad or crazy ones get to stay on .its not right you are to take poll and see what the people wants on or off.
We are devastated that “The Village” was cancelled! We either watched it or watched it on DVR every week! It is or was a better show than This is us which we don’t watch!
