Though the cast and crew of The Whole Truth will get to finish filming their 13 episode commitment, there’s no guarantee viewers will get to see them any time soon. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the show had been cancelled by ABC. Now, it looks like the network is pulling the legal drama from the schedule for the whole month of November.
As previously announced, next week’s episode will be preempted by the interview special In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. The following week, the entire Wednesday night line-up is bumped for the Country Music Awards.
After that, Whole Truth is being replaced by a pair of celebrity specials. On November 17th, ABC will air 25 Years of Sexy: People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive!. The following week, Primetime: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far? will take the timeslot.
It’s unknown if The Whole Truth will return in December or if ABC will keep the remaining nine episodes sitting on the shelf.
What do you think? Will ABC air the rest of the The Whole Truth episodes soon, over the summer, or never?

I think ABC should rethink, Whole Truth is really a great show.
This is a really great show that is the best example TV has ever had of how Lawyers and District Attorneys prepare for trial, it’s very entertaining and informative. If you pull this show it will be a big mistake because if given the chance this program would be a huge ratings booster for many years. This is a once in a lifetime hit. DON’T BLOW IT!!!!!
It figures they would cancel it. The show was so different and kept you guessing to the end. I sure hope someone else will pick the show up. The networks just don’t let a show stay on long enough, and they wonder why we are all bailing on them and watching shows on USA, TNT, etc.
What is going on with the networks- put out great thought provoking entertaining shows and then pull the plug before they have a chance. Perhaps the networks should stope cowtowing to imbecilic reality shows!
Great show. Can’t believe it was cancelled. Whoever made that decision needs to be cancelled!
My husband and I loved this show! The characters were great and the story lines awesome! I especially liked the part where you find out if the guilty were really guilty or not!!!! That’s why I prefer cable channels; they aren’t so quick to pull their shows. They are dependable! And ABC could learn a lesson before nobody watches them anymore!!!!
I think it is terrible that they canceled the show, I looked forward to watching the show every week. If they would have showed all 13 episodes they would have realized that more viewers were enjoying the show. How do they know who is watching? no one ever called me for my opinion, I have a lot of co-workers that follow that show. I want to see the whole truth.
It’s a shame that this show didn’t make it. It was really good. Although, maybe the verdit was one way too often.
They didn’t give it enough time to build an audience base. I have watched every week and then it disappeared.Did the ratings drop or what was the reason?
My fault, everybody. If I like a legal show, it’s doomed. And it’s opposite one of the worst courtroom shows yet. At the start of the season I recorded one and watched the other live…loved TWT, barfed over The Defenders. For crying out loud, ABC, at least let us enjoy all 13!
Another good show that ABC and never gave a chance! Seems to be their track record. I looked forward to watching this since they aired it. Much better than some of the ridiculous shows that they have already given a commitment to for the season. Better watch out Detroit 187, I hope your ratings are SUPERIOR or I am sure ABC will make you next! ABC you suck!
Show the whole season. I’m very disappointed they cancelled this show.
The Whole Truth is an excellant show. Why do these stupid reality shows stay on and good entertainment doesn’t. ABC did not give it a chance. It takes a while for people to get to even know about a show and begin to watch it. I’ll bet Law And Order was not an over night success. Please reconsider and have enough faith in this great show to give it a chance.
I cannot even believe that they are actually cancelling this great show!!!! They keep that stuppid A$$ show Defenders but cancel The Whole Truth how stupid!!!! I hope that CBS, NBC or some other network picks it up because it is sad that we have to see a good show cancel and now they put the 25 sexiest men, and has plastic surgery gone to far in its time slot that is just BS!!!!! THE WAS THE BEST SHOW AND A AWESOME CAST AS WELL!!!!!
this was a great show. they didn’t give it enough time or advertise it enough for people to find it to watch.
