EW reports Legend of the Seeker star, Craig Horner, will play the Count of Monte Cristo, in the upcoming sixth season of ABC‘s Once Upon a Time. The title character from the Alexandre Dumas novel, Edmond Dantès is an innocent man framed for and wrongfully accused of treason. Once he escapes an island fortress prison, Dantès is hellbent on revenge. The Revenge TV series, which was cancelled after four seasons on ABC was inspired by the book.
EW says, “Horner will appear in at least one episode in season 6, though details on what he’ll be doing are being kept under wraps.” Perhaps, but one of the aliases Dantès uses is Sinbad the Sailor. It seems at least likely Horner will play that previously announced character, as well. The other aliases Dantès assumes are Abbé Busoni and Lord Wilmore.

My apologies if you received two email notifications for this post. I lost my internet connection. When I got back online the story was not in our draft folder, trash folder, or published to the site. I had copied the text to my clipboard before I rebooted my machine, so I recreated the article. Then there were two. Thanks for your patience.
I’d just like to go back to receiving my email notifications. I haven’t received one since April
