Netflix wants to take you back to Virgin River. The streaming service has renewed the contemporary romance series for a second season of 10 episodes. The new episodes will premiere sometime in 2020.
Based on the Harlequin book series by Robyn Carr, Virgin River stars Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Lauren Hammersley, Jenny Cooper, Colin Lawrence, and Daniel Gillies. The show revolves around nurse practitioner Melinda Monroe (Breckenridge) following her move to the small California town of Virgin River. Looking for a fresh start, Monroe learns that living there isn’t quite as simple as she’d expected. She starts to heal herself so that she can truly make Virgin River her home.
The first season of 10 episodes of the show was just released on December 6th. Here’s the second season announcement:

Virgin River is one of the best shows I watched the show Twice and I can’t wait for part 2to come out it ended with a lot open I really hope Mel and Jack get together great show
I binge-watched Season 1 over the weekend. Loved it. So much intrigue, twists and turns, great characters, and great acting. Can’t wait for Season 2!
I loved it! Ifs so refreshing to have such an entertaining show, without foul language and with great plots that keep you coming back for more. And the characters are well thought out. It’s rare that I have laughed and cried so much. There is something for everyone.
We love this show-can’t wait for season 2. Small town relationships, feel good series with a bit of drama!

Loved season one of Virgin River. Looking forward to season two.
It will be way too sappy for many of you and is full of stock characters and predictable situations. However, if you never tire of Hallmark Channel shows, no matter how often you watch them, then Virgin River is for you.
Have very much enjoyed this series, was sorry to see it end. Am definitely looking forward to season two!
