Idealistic college graduate Matt Peyser (Fred Savage) lands his first corporate job working at the headquarters of international conglomerate Upton/Weber.
While trying to make sense of his workplace and job duties, Matt works with a number of strange characters who don’t seem to know what they’re doing.
They include weasily boss Tim Deale (Maurice Godin); perky organizer Abby Cosgrove (Arden Myrin); sarcastic loner John Delaney (Steve Hytner); young office fink Jimmy Clarke (Dana Gould); demanding operations manager Evelyn Smalley (Yvette Freeman); ambitious and saucy Liz Tricolli (Debi Mazar); underutilized secretary, Yale graduate Hal (Sarah Knowlton); and Hal’s nearly identical replacement, Val (Rebecca McFarland).
