A Million Little Things is getting ready for its fifth season on ABC, and it has been reported that season five of the drama is being written as its last. Starring David Giuntoli, Romany Malco, Allison Miller, Christina Moses, Grace Park, James Roday Rodriguez, Floriana Lima, Tristan Byon, Lizzy Greene, and Chance Hurstfield, the series follows a tight-knit group of friends following a tragedy that impacts their lives.
TV Line reported the following about the pending end of the ABC drama:
ABC is not commenting for this story, but we’re told the decision to bring the show to a creatively satisfying conclusion was made mutually between [creator DJ] Nash, the network and ABC Signature/Kapital Entertainment.
The series’ fifth season renewal came down to the wire in May, which brought a lot of anxiety for the cast and crew since the network had earlier told the writers not to make the fourth season finale a series finale. It’s been presumed that season five would be the show’s end so that the story could have the ending that Nash envisioned when he initially pitched the series to the network.
A Million Little Things is set to return for season five at midseason on ABC.
What do you think? Are you sad to hear that season five will be the end of A Million Little Things on ABC? Do you think five seasons is a good time to end the story?
Love the show!!! Please keep it on there’s been soo many great shows that have been cancelled it’s really ridiculous I’m to the point where I don’t even wanna watch TV anymore
Love this show. Keep it going
I look forward to watching this show. Please don’t take it off.
Can someone plz explain to me why all of the good shows always get cancelled or the big wigs of the show decide it needs to be over??? I love this show and look forward to it every season. I wait for it all to air and then binge watch the entire season! Great characters and storylines. So much junk on tv nowadays, quit removing the quality shows that fans want
I really hate to see it end. There is very little on tv anymore worth watching. I love the show and look forward to watching it every week. Seems like every time a good one comes along and I get evolved in it they end up canceling it.
I like this show and i hate to see it go anywhere but on my TV screen each week! There is just so much junk on Tv anymore and when shows like this and This Is Us come on about real life issues handled in real life ways comes on they get canceled quicker than anything so, Yes I’m very upset to see it go!!!! And there is no way they can wrap up all of these lives in 1 season to give an appropriate ending to all that’s going on so if that’s what they choose to do then… Read more »
Love the show and love
No no no! Please don’t end this show after 5 seasons damn you get one you really enjoy and can’t wait to see what happens next and then they terminate it. That just sucks!
Decent series, started so strong faded quickly. Still tune in and probably will for the 5th, especially since the far superior show This is Us is over, they should try to not go so woke next season.
I am sad this show is ending. It’s so real, and deals with topics we don’t always know how to deal with. The best show on TV right now!
Tbh, it was lucky to make it past S1.
Don’t want it to end
One of the best shows on TV!! Don’t make this the final season!?
I’m at a loss for words knowing that the show that has tackled the complexity of humanity is leaving. As a man, I look forward to every week seeing how the creative genius of the writers would speak to my own life experiences of loss to suicide, racism, addiction, secrets, parenting, career and infidelity. This decision creates a serious void for me.
Started out well, engaging characters and writing, then it turned into a soap opera and a political mouth piece as so often seems to be the way of everything these days. The entire concept of TV shows is surely to entertain the viewer, if you want education or information on facts go watch a documentary or make them – TV shows such as this were relatable and watchable because it emulated normal lives and you could miss one here or there and not be lost. It went the same was as New Amsterdam and that show with the Pearson family… Read more »
