The family in the Aftermath TV show on Syfy fights for their survival — just as their show is fighting to get renewed for a second season. Will this series be a hit in the ratings? Will it be cancelled? Stay tuned.
Aftermath follows the Copeland family in a world that’s coming apart. The family faces terrifying supernatural creatures and unprecedented disasters — including massive storms, earthquakes, meteor impacts, plague, and the rapid decline of civilization. Will they be able to survive — and figure out how to stop it? The series stars James Tupper, Anne Heche, Levi Meadon, Julia Sarah Stone, and Taylor Hickson.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

What do you think? Do you like the Aftermath TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season on Syfy?
I love this show. I really want this t o keep going on. It’s really addictive.
The writers have written these characters about ten times stupider than I am capable of suspending disbelief over. Kill this show now to make room for a show that’s not riding the short bus.
Horrible! Cancel it! And take off the sunglasses. Soooo ridiculous!
I think the glasses are part of her armor so no one can see her emotions and she can keep herself together. She is ex miltary and she needs to be responsible for her family’s safety because it isn’t really her husband’s thing. I have not totally made up my mind if I really like it yet.
It’s great fun…a good escape…hoping for a season 2!
I like both Sandy and Marta’s comments…both are true but I admit I like the show
Totally love this show! It’s exciting, gross and compelling. Can’t wait for next week’s episode!
Terrible acting, terrible dialog. How stupid to have mother wear sunglasses in the dark!
Please put this series out of its misery! !!
Don’t be so selfish! I love this show!
This is the worst show!! How could Dominion be cancelled and this nonsense be aired. Syfy bring back Dominion and get rid of this garbage.
@Michelle Agreed….and, awwww…Dominion was canceled? I suppose I should’ve figured that out by now, since, you know, it’s not on…but, yeh, definitely bring that one back and can this trash. OMG is this bad, and *I’m* arguably pretty forgiving of “cheesey”, but THIS nonsense gives “utterly implausible cheesiness” a bad name.
who.!! writes this crap.??
Ann heche and James tupper should get out of this cycle of failed TV and go do some stage acting in ny. I see heche as a stage actress and I’m sure tupper could do it. They have a lousy agent They should move east after they wring the last few bucks from this obviously doomed show
Might’ve liked it without the whole demons thing.
Couldnt make it past the first 1/2 hour…the alien weirdness was too far weird…
There was no alien .
Felt a bit like Crossed, although I don’t know why they couldn’t just commit to the premise of Crossed without the alien weirdness. Could have been the next Walking Dead if they had.
Anne Heche? How the mighty have fallen.
OMG !!!! Seen first episode… average SYFY Channel fare. Pretty bad. I mean they see an evil spirit come out of a boys body. They watch their child being taken away. A moment of crying. Then the parents are sitting around smiling about stupid things. The younger daughter breaks down not during all this, but half way through the show when the gas station attendant pulls a head out of his window washer fluid bucket !!I mean. The characterization is BAD !!! The timing is BAD !!! It’s a ashame. I had high hopes for this. To me only good… Read more »
Unfortunately, the live ratings on this show are still high enough that SYFY could renew it. If the overall live ratings get down to the 0.12 or 0.13 range, then we find out if NBC Universal will continue to reward FAILURE. So far, they have renewed 5 shows that either have finished or will finish under a live ratings average of 0.20, which is pathetic.
