What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, the Almost Family TV show stars Brittany Snow, Tim Hutton, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Emily Osment, Mo McRae, Mustafa Elzein, and Victoria Cartagena. Based on the Australian drama series Sisters, this show explores what it means to be a family and the potential emotional complications that new generations of In vitro fertilization (IVF) children can face. In the series, Julia Bechley (Snow) is an adult only child who has her world turned upside down. She learns that her father, Doctor Leon Benchley (Hutton), a pioneer in fertility, secretly used his own sperm to father over a hundred children. While still reeling from this revelation, Julia discovers that she has two new half-sisters — her former best friend, Edie Palmer (Echikunwoke), and ex-Olympic athlete Roxy Doyle (Osment). As the three daughters begin to reconcile their new reality, Julia starts life without having her dad by her side, Edie comes to grips with her sexuality, and Roxy faces adulthood out of the spotlight. The trio attempt to bond as unconventional sisters while dealing with new siblings as part of a rapidly expanding and very untraditional extended family.

Telly’s Take
Will FOX cancel or renew Almost Family for season two? The ratings are pretty low and they should be a lot better considering that it follows The Masked Singer, the highest-rated series in the demo. At this point, I think it will be cancelled. For now, I’ll keep an eye on the ratings and update this page with breaking developments. Please don’t cancel. My husband and I both love the show! It addresses so many different aspects of real life. We are really looking forward to another season of a wonderful show that we both enjoy.
You have to renew this show. I love Almost Family. It brings joy to my night when I get to watch it. I would rate it the same as Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. I don’t want to go without them.

I LOVE ALMOST FAMILY! It has so much potential for various story lines as more people come out having the same DNA as the Doctor. I really think this show just gets better and better, and I hope it gets a more of a chance to further those possible story lines in a second season. Plus, GREAT ACTORS! I love them individually from other shows/movies, and they are great together in ALMOST FAMILY!
This show is so creative and I hope it is renewed. It is an acquired taste but so worth it. Let’s give it one more chance!

Please do not take almost family off the air. It is refreshing it is fun it is sexy it is everything that’s going on in this day and time. Please let this show return. It should come on earlier I do think that.
Please bring back Almost Family. The first season may have started out slowly but there wasn’t a big build up for it to begin with. I am and others are invested in these characters.
And it wasn’t fair that they lost those couple weeks because of the World Series after what-the 2nd episode, I think? And then it lost another couple weeks for holiday break. They didn’t give it a fair shot from the get-go.

Please give almost family a chance,it’s not fair to those who actually watch and loves the show,it speaks and apply to what’s going on in life . New shows deserve 2 seasons at less before any ratings there not giving it a chance and how is it fair to the actress they’re great with each role so I say please don’t cancel this show please don’t pull the rug from under the actors actresses or we true fans of AF.
I hope they give another chance because I fell in love with the show, I even got my friends hooked on it!!!
