Baywatch aired for several seasons, and a big screen revival is in the works. Will Baywatch fans see David Hasselhoff back on the beach?

It has been a possibility, according to Cinema Blend, but nothing has been set in stone yet. The film is currently in production, and it stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. The role of C.J. Parker was just cast last week.

Hasselhoff did give an update on his appearing in the film revival, and he said:

“I am not sure. I called [producer Ivan]  Reitman about a year ago, when there were different stars in it… He said, ‘If it goes, we’re definitely going to put you in it.’ And I said, ‘Send me a script.’ So far I haven’t heard a word.”
