There will be no more redemption for The Blacklist: Redemption. After just one season, the spin-off from The Blacklist has been cancelled. The series wrapped its season in April.
The NBC series, which stars Ryan Eggold and Famke Janssen, started off its first season on a low note, and the series never rose any higher on a consistent basis. Season one wrapped with an average of a 0.75 demo rating and 4.04 million viewers.
Other cancelled NBC TV shows include Timeless, Emerald City, and Powerless. The Blacklist has been renewed for a fifth season on NBC.

This was a great show, not sure why it was cancelled. It had the potential of being better than the original blacklist.

So upset they cancelled this show! They should have this show on while blacklist is not so fans can follow both stories! My fiance and I were huge fans of the show! Such horrible shows (especially “reality”) are getting renewed for countless seasons but great action shows like this can’t even get a chance at a second season to carry on the story! I was so excited for a season 2! Very disappointed with NBC for this cancelation,and based on many comments I’ve read , I’m far from the only one who thinks so!! I liked this show a lot. However, I can also see some of the threads into the blacklist. But the show was really good.
Once again. What do people at the top know about a great show.
Perhaps the Bachelor has more intelligence and actual inappropriate and possibly illegal action.
Well, that’s really stupid (to cancel this show). It’s better than the Blacklist!
