Chad isn’t returning as soon as expected. The TBS comedy series had been slated to return tonight but season two has apparently been delayed. The cable channel has been mum about the details of the rescheduling but the show will likely return this summer.
Created by writer/executive producer and co-showrunner Nasim Pedrad, the Chad TV show also stars the Iranian-American actress in the title role. Co-stars include Ella Mika, Saba Homayoon, Paul Chahidi, Jake Ryan, Alexa Loo, Thomas Barbusca, and Sara Malal Rowe. The story follows a 14-year-old pubescent Persian boy named Chad Amani (Pedrad) as he navigates high school. His mission, like many high schoolers, is to become popular. Chad’s friendships and sanity are pushed to the limits as he uses every tactic at his disposal to befriend the cool kids, while enduring the new dating life of his mother, Naz (Homayoon), and reconciling with his cultural identity.
Season two will pick up with Chad returning from summer break and beginning his role as the newly elected class president. Episodes will follow the introduction of a school scandal, a new love interest, and a visit from Chad’s tough-as-nails Iranian grandmother.

7/11/22 update: TBS has dropped Chad but a new home is being sought for season two.
With a rotten tomatoes score of 15 by tv audiences no wonder it’s on hold.
Love this show. I saw the early season 2 premiere, and then weeks later i was expecting to catch up. I’m partially saddened by the longer wait time. Gj on the show, chad team! Thank you! I usually don’t comment on these things, but seeing so much dislike might have been a factor in me commenting here.
I was very excited for second season, then nothing. Tears I love the show.
I wasn’t sure as to how I would feel, watching the season 1 trailer. I actually had gone to a friends and they were watching this.

Not one enjoyable moment in Bob’s Burgers. No laughs. Cringe value off the charts. No reason for this show to be on TV. Frankly horrible. Other than what’s his name who does Bob’s voice, also Archer which is fantastic
Chad is by far the worst show I have ever seen on TV. I watched it out of curiosity but found myself wondering, who on earth thought that would be entertaining? It also amplifies the notion that such behavior is acceptable, because why not,??it’s on TV. The networks should be ashamed of themselves for greenlighting such a horrible program. I am saddened that executives think glorifying rude behavior is proper viewing. Please take this POS off tv.

WTH! I had been counting down the days! Ran through season one for a second time in preparation for today and all to be totally let down. I need quality comedy in my life and I need it now!
I’m so mad. I was all ready to see the show tonight and now I have to wait. CHAD is an interesting show and funny as hell.
