God Friended Me was recently cancelled by CBS, and now the cast is reacting to the move by the network. Brandon Michael Hall, Violett Beane and others on the cast spoke about the series ending on social media.
Per TV Line, Hall revealed the following about the cancellation of God Friended Me:
“There’s something to be said for an artist to be able to wake up every single day and work with a group of people who you can honestly call your family. The hardest thing is knowing I’m not going to be able to… work with them [every day].”

I am soooo disappointed that God Friended Me is being cancelled. It was my favorite show and my husband’s as well. It was clean, uplifting, inspiring and heartfelt with no violence or bad language. I loved the characters as well as the stories. CBS is making a huge mistake!!! This is the kind of shows that America needs. So sad!
My heart is breaking! Such a quality show that I will miss so much. It is positive, and shows the many ways there are to love and be loved. It was always a way to start my week with a smile in my heart. I guess my taste is not mainstream.

This show was a wonderful, positive show! This show reminded me of “Touched By An Angel”. I just can’t understand why such a wonderful show would be canceled. I am saddened and SO DISAPPOINTED!

I can’t believe in this time of uncertainty that we have to find out that a feel good show like God Friended me should get canceled. Love everything about the show all the actors and story lines. We looked forward every Sunday to sit down and watch what would happen next in this wonderful show. Maybe you should rethink your decision.
My husband and I were shocked to learn the show was canceled. We looked forward to it every Sunday and told many friends and family about the show. A great loss for TV a truly sweet program we will miss.

Finally have quality television and they cancel it. That is so wrong especially while they leave other shows completely devoid of any semblance of quality on the air. God Friended Me is a great show that families can watch together and there is not nearly enough shows like that. Very disappointed!!
Huge mistake canceling. It gave us hope for people who still love good family tv shows on Sunday nights.

Very disappointed that this wonderful show is being cancelled. A show about good people working together to bring kindness into a world that desperately needs it didn’t have a chance.
