The Good Doctor has some new company. TVLine reports Graham Patrick Martin will guest on the ABC TV show’s season one finale.
The medical drama centers on Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), a new surgical resident with autism and savant syndrome. The cast also includes Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chuku Modu, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper, Tamlyn Tomita, and Richard Schiff.
On The Good Doctor, Martin will play “Blake, an intoxicated college student who attempts to drop his injured friend Caden off at the emergency room and skedaddle. He is stopped by the St. Bonaventure staff, but is unwilling to provide information that might save Caden’s life. It’s eventually discovered that the boys were involved in a fraternity hazing, during which Blake talked Caden into taking ecstasy.”
The episode, titled “More,” is slated to air on ABC in March.

I’m confused..is “The Good Doctor” moving to CBS, or not getting a renewal (I think I’m seeing that the finale will be shown on CBS in March)? Hope this show is renewed..when will this information be available?

This is my favorite new show and I can’t believe it won’t get a renewal. I enjoyed Graham Patrick Martin on Major Crimes and look forward to seeing him in a different role.
The Good Doctor is one of the best shows on TV right now. Much looking forward to a season two. Please don’t have a good thing going & then cancel it for something that no one cares about. Renew!!!!!!
I really like “The Good Doctor,” but not a fan of that particular guest stars acting.

But, I will watch “The Good Doctor” Finale, just not with the same enthusiasm.
Compelling show – good performances by all – good scripts and brave series premise! Don’t watch much tv but never miss this show..: Am hoping for several more seasons!
