TV show description:
A disaster adventure series, the La Brea TV show was created by David Appelbaum.
The story begins as a massive sinkhole opens up in the middle of Los Angeles, swallowing cars and buildings and separating the Harris family between two worlds. Mom Eve (Zea) and teenage son Josh (Martin) fall into an unexplainable primeval land alongside a group of strangers trying to figure out where they are, and how to get back home.
On the surface, teen daughter Izzy (Gorecki) barely survives the disaster. Father Gavin (Macken) has a both troubled past and hallucinations that make him an unlikely choice to help solve the mystery and reunite the family. However, when Gavin realizes his visions might just be the key to finding their loved ones, time will be the only thing that stands in their way.
Episode #30 — The Road Home, Part 2
Gavin leads the survivors in trying to find Eve, Josh and Riley. Will he be able to finally reunite his family and still find a way back to the lives they once knew?
First aired: February 13, 2024.
What do you think? Do you like the La Brea TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
Really bad acting. Some of the plot is interesting, but watching some of the cast chew the scenery is painful. So many plot holes.
“Land of the Lost” From my Saturday morning childhood.
Please continue!
Great show! Please renew
Great show. Must be renewed.
good premise – but lots of issues, lots of holes. So far they’ve been there 5 days. Women have perfect makeup; men without beards are clean shaven; they’ve worn the same clothing for 5 day and no dirt or wrinkles, no bathing for 5 days and they are all clean (including people digging for the heroin and graves); where are all the dead people – not all survived the massive drop (amazing that any did); food stolen by giant sloth yet they seem to be fine food wise – I guess from the MRE’s? They were in LA in warm… Read more »
great first show… then all downhill since… very young writers… way too many problems… cancel if can not get pro writers and a connected story line…
horrible show, bad acting
Just a terrible load of non-sense. Acting is at best a D grade, the writing is bad, and worst of all are the special effects – the only thing about them that is special is that someone special must have signed off on this garbage. I’m certainly over the plethora of reality shows (or unreality like Kardashians and desperate housewives everywhere, or Judge Judy the sour old wench), but please, won’t someone come up with a show, a script, a cast and a concept that is worthy of our viewing? Please. Someone, anyone?
Yes… you nailed it… very poor story line by the writers… nothing is connected… can not see how it will go for 2 more weeks… cancel is the only answer if you can not hire mature writers….
Way too many commercials. Then when you search where you left off – more commercials. We stopped watching.
This is a great show – lots of suspense. Every week when it ends I can’t wait to see the next one.
18 minutes of commercials in an hour long show.
I enjoy this show, plot and actors and actresses .I need a new show to watch this fits the bill.. Good play on working together
This is the 2021 version of “Lost”. That being said “La Brea” is entertaining. It’s welcome to the neolithic cliches and tropes of characters and situations we have already seen seen in movies and TV series. What happened to all the cars, other motor vehicles, people who fell into the sinkhole since we have seen only s few survivors? It hasn’t occurred to the people who are living the present day to send food and medical supplies to those who whom they know survived falling into the sinkhole! It’s questions like these that make this show worth watching. How soon… Read more »
wow…. I agree… the writers must be very young…. The first show was good… the rest have been a terrible show… every opportunity they have to spin off into a good show… they stop and go back to nothing….
I hope that La Brea will have more series it is a gripping show please don’t let it end. We must see how they are rescued.
I enjoyed it. Hopefully, though, it doesn’t go the same way LOST did. Interested in seeing next weeks episode. BTW, they showed a baby stroller in all the mess down below… where’s the baby?
