What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Tricia Helfer, Scarlett Estevez, and Tom Welling. The supernatural procedural centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (German) crack cases. Now with his mother (Helfer) taken care of, in season three, Lucifer wants to figure out who kidnapped him and why his angel wings have returned. He also has to deal with a new rival for Chloe’s attention, Lieutenant Marcus Pierce (Welling), who, unlike Lucifer, is strategic, reserved, and well-respected.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Lucifer averaged a 0.83 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.30 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 20% and down by 10%, respectively. Find out how Lucifer stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.
Lucifer was cancelled by FOX, but was later picked up for season four by Netflix. Season four debuts May 8, 2019. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Although it premiered with okay numbers, the ratings for Lucifer are even lower than last year’s (and those weren’t very good). I suspect it will be back for a fourth season but it could easily be cancelled due to the low ratings. For now, I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. I binge watched the whole 3 seasons than just barely get on Google and find out its canceled FOX if ur reading all our comments a bet u will have more veiwers if u renew Lucifer just saying dumbest decision u guys made ever canceling my favorite show can’t wait till it comes back tom Ellis makes an awesome funny Lucifer I say we gotta renew the show
they should name it CSI Lucifer and it would have been renewed. Or Law and Order, Lucifer
I know it was already struggling, but I think the Pierce story line buried it. He’s insufferable, and really this show was all about the awesome chemistry with Dekker and Lucifer. Why would you mess with that fundamental formula?

Okay, FOX, are you serious? HAVE you EVER seen the #SaveLucifer, and hashtags like that on twitter? IT HAS OVER A MILLION TWEETS, Brooklyn 99 was canceled too, but picked up my NBC, WHY CAN’T IT HAVE ANOTHER SEASON BY ANOTHER CHANNEL? IT HAD AWESOME RATINGS, COMPARED TO FAMILY GUY WHO IS RENEWED! the only show i’ll be watching from FOX now is Master Chef.
FOX SUCKS! What about cancelling whole FOX? Thats 3rd show i watched and got cancelled …. and even more annoying when ends with dumb cliffhanger! I hope some other network will pick it … once more time FOX YOU SUCKS!
Best show me and my girlfriend are ever watched. Well. We are not watching in at fox. Ww are using Netflix and I believe that many other people are doing the same. That lowers amount of watchers on fox. But. Pls. Dont cancel it…

Save lucifer should be renew not cancelled like it is give it a chance with a final season finish the story but fox cancelled the show leaving it with huge cliffhanger and the fan are going to want more from the show been a fan from the beginning and to the end. Love the cast i will miss lucifer thanks for show number one fan.
I really loved Lucifer. Of course I also loved Last Man on Earth and Brooklyn 99. They could at least have given them series finales. I won’t be watching anything new of Fox as I no longer trust them.
