What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Tricia Helfer, Scarlett Estevez, and Tom Welling. The supernatural procedural centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (German) crack cases. Now with his mother (Helfer) taken care of, in season three, Lucifer wants to figure out who kidnapped him and why his angel wings have returned. He also has to deal with a new rival for Chloe’s attention, Lieutenant Marcus Pierce (Welling), who, unlike Lucifer, is strategic, reserved, and well-respected.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Lucifer averaged a 0.83 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.30 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 20% and down by 10%, respectively. Find out how Lucifer stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.
Lucifer was cancelled by FOX, but was later picked up for season four by Netflix. Season four debuts May 8, 2019. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Although it premiered with okay numbers, the ratings for Lucifer are even lower than last year’s (and those weren’t very good). I suspect it will be back for a fourth season but it could easily be cancelled due to the low ratings. For now, I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. After that grand finale,there are so many possibilities to continue this tv series.Like the others fans,I used to watch Lucifer every monday for the last 2 years and I was very excited only from the idea that the Satan is visiting the earth for his personal pleasures.Now I know that next monday i will wake up and browse the web to see Lucifer,but wait….it’s gone…You guys(Fox),you preffer your critics opinion rather than your fans opinion and that’s really sad.I hope you reconsider this project and give it a second tought.

Have you checked IMDB, perhaps THE BEST place to go where average ppl like me vote and review shows and movies? Lucifer has an 8.2 rating!!! What are you thinking? That number is as high as an average TV show has in IMDB! Why are you fixing what isn’t broken? BRING BACK LUCIFER!

Faithful Fan; the only show I watch every week without fail, since week 1. Please don’t cancel. It’s well written…smart enough to keep me engaged, funny enough to make me laugh and escape the dreadful reality discussed in the nightly news. The writing is great and the chemistry of the cast is great.

Please don’t cancel Lucifer it was giving me what little enjoyment I can get out of life and was actually making me happy to watch it every week. I beg you to reconsider and allow another season please. I am a huge fan of this show so please, bring it back. The only reason I’m not seeing it on Fox is because I’m watching it on amazon in the UK as I don’t have access to fox here. But it made me so happy so please, don’t cancel. PLEASE 🙁
